There really is no end to the forms Coyote can take. (don't want to spoil it) Hm, what kind would he be if he were to do that? Psychic/dark? Certainly not electric He'd be the really annoying one you always have to start the fight with, laying down stealth rocks, spikes and toxic spikes, giving the enemy stat boosts and then reversing them with Contrary.

...why are recent posts all about Kat thinking of boxbot? ...or was it the avatar guy? Kat has been thinking about Paz, which is wonderful. The edits have her thinking about Boxbot, which is terrible. This juxtaposition is funny. You're rather off the mark. Both Paz and Boxbot are terrible.

Either we're talking about completely different games, or it's changed a heck of a lot since G/S/C The latter, definitely. I don't like most of the new gen monsters, but new gen moves are downright unfair. It's not uncommon to lead off with a "minelayer" that knows Stealth Rock, Toxic Spike, Spike and another move. Once you bring something onto the field, 25% of its health is gone in the first turn and its already critically poisoned. Then there are stat-switchers (Shuckle is beastly at this) and the stat buffers with Baton Pass so you can power up and hand the bonuses off to your big hitter and then just sweep through the whole enemy team. It's unforgiving. Let me put it that way.

Oh no he just walked slightly to my left, dammit. Here comes another one. YEAH,TRIP AND STUMBLE EVER SO SLIGHTLY! Weren't expecting that were you. Oh, you've got up and are walking off. dammit come back! I'll trip your legs off!"

Everybody should check out Pokemon Showdown. One of the best battle sims out there, and they even give you different leagues so you don't have to play against all the new cheap combos if you don't want to.

Literally the most embarrassing collection you could show off to your squeeze. Is boxbot singular, or are there multiple models? If there was more than one, they could not be exact duplicates, So one of them would be less terrible than another. Which would break th premise, in that one of Boxbots would not be the most terrible bot around.

The one with a feather in his cap when Kat and Annie first opened the workshop basement.

So my son got these bright green Lego wheels (it's hard to tell from the pictures how vivid they are) and I got a terrible idea. I thought Boxbot ought to be a box, so I made him open up. It got me wondering, what does Boxbot hold? I thought it'd be a funny and crazy twist to make him hold the Seed Bismuth, but I didn't know how to make that out of Lego (or anything else for that matter) so I went with gizmos instead. He's not very complicated -- a little motor, a red light for terribleness, a green light to make his eyes glow and to indicate power, and a navigation system (or targeting system, if you're that suspicious.) Also, Lego fans might notice that the dark grey button is one of those crappy knock-off brand bricks rather than genuine Lego. I grabbed it out of the box because it was the right size, but when I realized what it was I started to throw it back because I hate them. Then I realized it was perfect to use because it was terrible. (Note: The images are at 50% -- click them to view at full size.)

...the terribleness... It's overwhelming! Naw, it's actually pretty cool. The seed bismuth idea borders on creepy... Thanks! Since I took those pictures a few days ago, my son found a Lego pretzel (I have no idea what set that came from but it's the right size for a minifig to hold) and said it'd be funny to put it in Boxbot. I don't know where he gets his ideas (my son is 8, by the way,) but I agreed it was funny and a terrible idea so we put it in. Maybe he's onto something -- perhaps there was a translation error somewhere in the mists of time and the Seed Bismuth is really supposed to be Seed Bagel?

Haha, nice This kinda makes me want to break out the old mindstorms set and see if I could get a working boxbot rolling around. Not sure what I'd use for the eyes.. No lights or anything on mine though, it just spins a motor when you shine a flashlight at it

I wonder what lengths Kat went to to woo Boxbot, especially after the whole waitress thing she did with Paz. (how to put this nicely..)
