Here's a thought: could they use the tooth to sever Loup's disparate parts, bringing back Coyote and Ysengrin? Many forumites have theorized this. I am not so sure. 1) It seems too obviously easy, and 2) Coyote was dead before Ysengrin devoured his body. Maybe it will only bring Ysengrin back. Still, I like the theory very much, that Coyote deliberately hid the Tooth from Loup by keeping the knowledge from Ysengrin and removing his own memory.

The tooth is afoot. Interesting thought. If it still giggles, does it mean it has Coyote inside? and ... ain't it be considered a Gift from Coyote, and so, inherently included in Loup demands of returning? Loup explicitly asked for the bone, water, and Renard. He did not ask for the tooth. I don't think he's aware of the tooth. I do think this is going to matter. Somehow.

Here's a thought: could they use the tooth to sever Loup's disparate parts, bringing back Coyote and Ysengrin? The big problem is: how? That sounds like the kind of act it would take a lot of training and knowledge to learn how to do, and who would serve as Annie's instructor for that? (Not to mention it would take a lot of time, most likely - time that the Court doesn't have.) At this point, I suspect that the only way Annie would be able to use the tooth to stop Loup would be by simply killing him with it, which she'd be reluctant to do. (Not to mention that it wouldn't fit the tone of the webcomic. Also, slaying Loup would have its own problems. For one thing, Gilltie Wood might still be frozen in time; can we be certain that it wouldn't unfreeze with Loup's passing? And there'd be all those remaining forest-folk attacking the Court, who'd no longer have anyone to hold them in check, and who might be howling for revenge for all those of their kind who were slain or injured attacking the Court.) Finding some way to bring Coyote back might be the only viable solution (at least, short-term) - with the caveat that he was the one who got them all into this trouble to begin with, all because he just wanted to exercise another novel trickster feat. How long before he comes up with another wild scheme that endangers the Court and the Forest as a side-effect?

Well, Coyote was quite insistent on Annie not telling Ysengrim about the tooth... Sounds like a plot device to me...

*** some serious-looking stuff happening with the tooth, probably Loup-related *** Meanwhile, I'm totally distracted by Juliette running into the hillbilly home to "get ready" for Arthur. Oh wow, somehow it hadn't even occurred to me to wonder how exactly Juliette is going to "get ready" for Arthur. Is she planning a dramatic reception, Ayilu-and-Red-style (Well, hopefully not exactly like those two weirdos, but you know what I mean)? Does she have a cute dress prepared for the occasion? Are we going to get to see Excited Juliette in a cute dress having a romantic moment with Arthur? HOW MUCH MORE CUTENESS CAN I TAKE?!
These are the serious and grave questions that keep me up at night.

Though, what strikes me as so odd about this page, though, is that they're getting out the tooth basically right in front of a known member or two of the Shadow Men, who could at any moment come back out of the house while they're fiddling with the tooth... Juliette and Arthur are knee-deep into breaking the Court's rules themselves. What should Juliette tell the Court when they ask where and how she found out about that tooth?
