Isn't "uncanny valley" when the face looks very humanlike, but a human can recognize it is not a fellow human? Like characters in modern video games? To me, Robot still looks like a robot, and not creepy.

To me, Robot still looks like a robot, and not creepy. You have the basic concept of "uncanny valley" down solid, but it doesn't have to be specifically about the face. The other thing is, the breadth and depth of the Uncanny Valley most definitely varies from person to person. As does exactly which features are most important. And the critical thing is, if Robot is still somewhere on the non-human side of the bottom of Uncanny Valley, making him a bit more human will make him creepier.

To me, Robot still looks like a robot, and not creepy. You’re right, and I would say what registers as uncanny value is different for different people. You said he doesn’t look like a human, and therefore is not creepy. So for you, he hasn’t entered it yet. For me, he looks human enough and has definitely entered it and I am already missing the flat-faced robot.
