Ok, this may have been brought up before, or it might not have - I don't particularly feel like crawling through 28 pages to find out.
Anyway, the RSS feed always points to the main page - isn't it more helpful to feed from the permalinks?
Because right now, you might as well just have a regular bookmark.

Lots of RSS Feeds point to the main page. Its really just there to tell you when its been updated. Thats my thoughts on it anyway.

Okay, I guess I don't need to answer these myself anymore.

Bah. I guess it's because I prefer to easily link back to older versions from live bookmarks - when a site is updated as consistently as this one it's kind of pointless having an RSS feed just for informing people that it was updated on time again.

Heh.. "Questions to tetsamaru" would have been a fitting topic too ;D It's not like tet's the only one doing it. I've butted in to answer questions a few times, and for that I apologize.

I know.. but the first posts on this page do look like "Questions to tetsamaru" But I'm not blaming anyone. I think everyone who posted here only wanted to help. My opinion: Make rules, add moderators to enforce them. Sarcasm is ok, but I can't imagine that it's fun. I could elaborate this more but I don't want this turn turn into "Suggestions to Tom".

Heh.. "Questions to tetsamaru" would have been a fitting topic too ;D But then who answers my questions? LAUGHING ON LINE, Any of us who answers are just Reducing Tom's work load. Helping makes the world go round, and money, lets not forget that. When i answer questions, i just answer to the best of my abilities and i make sure it actually makes sense before i hit that send key. I like learning so i have a vast amount of knowledge in my super computer-like brain. The only reason i got here faster than Tom is because i frequent Forums, i love Forums, I only tend to stay away from Fan shipping threads if there chaotic though. But im a frequent on many boards. Working from home means alot of free time. Reminds me of this question my teacher asked once. Is your brain a Dump, a folder, a library, a computer, or a super computer.

uhmm, I think that not only should this thread be to " to whoever feels like answering"... but also for the ones that have a legitimate answer... or a question

We already have a place where other fans can try to answer our questions. It's called "the rest of the forum".
Tom, if you're sick of this thread and want to kill it, that's your prerogative and I won't complain. But I really enjoyed having such an easy outlet for all my stupid questions, and I'd hate to see it end over this.
Perhaps as a compromise we could make a separate Peanut Gallery thread for forumites to post in if they're absolutely convinced that they know the answer to something that was posted here? And if someone tries to do that in this thread, the mods could just punt it over there?

I was thinking about making a new questions thread anyway, since this one had gotten so long. However I don't answer questions that have been answered for me.

So, this is only my second post. I read the first 200 comics or so (and loved them), then had to leave. Came back, and now it gives me this: Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.{{this is accessing the main site. if i try /archive, or /art, it shows that}}
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I didnt change any settings on my laptop, and no other website is affected. is this a common problem? please help! I have Vista, if that is an issue (I would NOT be surprised) I've really enjoyed this comic, and would like to continue reading. Thank you in advance for any advice/help.

it's due to a bandwidth overload happened probably because of another webcomic linking to Gunnerkrigg Court. We have no other information as how on when it will be fixed.

Thanks. My little sister has started reading the comic and keeps asking me what the signs on the walls and stuff means. I hate not having an answer.

Is the symbol over Kat's head in the second treatise a lowercase greek xi? It represents a wide variety of things in advance scientific fields and I thought that fit her. However, it would have to be very stylized, and I normally don't see that with the symbols in GC. It's driving me crazy!

Tom, with what method did you write the comic? I have a character that's changing and becoming fleshed-out over time, I am writing the story around the character to express and expand the premise and message, organizing all the writing using a personal wiki and discussing ideas with friends. How and with what tools did you develop your story and characters?

Tom: If this would be a spoiler just ignore it but I am wondering about two things: In: www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=46How he seems to act gives me the idea that Reynardine planed from when he first thought of it to posses the wolf thing. Despite what is seems where he was trying to posses her later it is shown that Coyote does not think he ever would try to posses or (or he is meaning kill) the second that I don't think might count as a spoiler is: www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=23the paintings on that page do that have any significance? or were they shown purely in a way to set mood on that chapter?

To the second: Tom said once that he had plans for that, but later dropped them. We don't know whether he will use them again.

I've been wondering: does anyone know which font is that Tom uses for sound effects?

In which time period, exactly? The font changed over the years.

I think the sound effects are frequently drawn in by hand.
