If it is a perfect copy there is no difference and a difference that makes no difference is no difference. That's simply refuted by assuming multiple "perfect copies" and/or originals, however this subject is completely off topic for the comic. No, but it wouldn't surprise me if that comic delves into the same philosophical question based on that subject matter, or vice versa.

I can't help but think that a few cell phones here and there could be just as effective in this instance though. They have mag-lev trains, but no one seems to have good long-distance communication devices. Yeah the "heroes" in this story are kind of a coordinated team at this point. I dunno what actual exact time this story takes place in, but they could at least have radios or something. Cell phones are still creeping into fiction at an astonishingly slow rate. I guess having easy, instant communication can eliminate a lot of the tensions that writers still like to set up. They have cell phones. Jones' is a push-button phone because her fingers can't create the same electronic response that touch-screens rely upon, which implies that smart-phones exist at this point. They have walkie-talkies as well. Students just probably aren't allowed to have phones on campus. Andrew has a smartphone, or at least something that looks like it.

I still want to know what exactly it was that Parley and Eggers DID when they rushed off on page 1976. Anything particularly important?

They did the shield Eglamore, Donald and Parley did it Donald set up the system by hacking into the robots and remotelly installing the protocol without Anja knowing Parley teleported to E1 to activate the emergency protocol Eglamore goku'ed to fend off the Coywolf in case he tried something before the shield was up, but wasn't necessary. E1 stands for Primary Emergency Command Center

It's too bad, because watching the forest creatures that come to the court learn how to text or post Instagram pics would have been hilarious.

Why would she need to teleport away to check up on Andrew when she's already standing next to him? "Andrew" is a code word for "Eglamore".
