Maybe Annie is trying to avoid telling Rey on purpose? She knows the Renard stories..... Somehow though I think she might just be sort of breathless instead. Antimony Carver: still rubbish at running.

Welcome to the forums! Hmm. Can Rey possess Ysengrin? That's unclear, though it has been formsprung by the author that Renard couldn't possess Coyote (unless Coyote wanted to go along with it for the giggles) so I'll answer a tentative "no" since Ysengrin has Coyote's powers. For the same reason Ys can strip Renard of his gift at will. Two caveats: 1. Ys probably has to think of doing these things in order to do it so it might change things if Renard makes a surprise attack, though maybe not if it's just a matter of willpower, and 2. there's probably a limitation on Coyote's gift of power that we don't know about yet. Not to say that I told you, but I told you!I'm assuming Rey won't possess Ysenwhateverote unless he's forced to (and not bound by any contract). The only way I see it happening is having his doll body destroyed. Also: can I get half a cookie for my first prediction or only if I get a full match?

Speaking of Rey possessing Coyote/Ysengrin. This couldn't just be an excessively long term and convoluted plan by Coyote to get Renard to voluntarily posses his body, and thus get Renard back under the Forest's control and Coyote's influence, could it?
