I hope that Ysengrin will withdraw after this rather than launching a full-scale assault on the Court to invade and topple it, satisfied with giving them a demonstration of how the forces of nature he commands are mightier than human technology. An all-out invasion would make it harder to continue the story in a recognizable fashion afterwards (and there are still too many threads left unresolved for a "grand finale"-type battle to occur at this point). If Ysengrin returns to the woods after this, believing he's made his point and satisfied with his work for the moment, then the comic can continue a while longer, with obviously some adjustment needed, but with still room (after a while of the "what just happened") to deal with other aspects of the story.
In short, I'm hoping this is more the counterpart to Voldemort's revival at the end of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (intensifying the story, but not ending it; there were three more books after that) than the counterpart to the start of the Battle of Hogwarts in "Deathly Hallows".

Fully agree. It will be a much more interesting story to see how the Court deals with this new "state of affairs" with the Forest now dominant. Perhaps Coysnegrin/Ysote will present demands to the court now, eg, termination of Omega project, return of Rey and maybe the "Traitors", maybe even destruction of the Seed Bismuth. This was just a show of strength, and establishing a bridgehead to launch punitive strikes if the Court is disobedient.

It'll be interesting to see how the Court would respond, if Ysengrin does indeed deliver an ultimatum. On the one hand, its scorn for the inhabitants of Gilltie Wood as mere beasts; I can imagine them seeing capitulating to Ysengrin's demands as far too humiliating, and responding with a tone of "We don't negotiate with four-footed furry animals". On the other hand, the Court had caved quickly to Coyote's demands about Annie (or, more accurately, shoved Antony in front of them - Antony himself caved quickly as well, though that was more because, in his broken condition, he was in no state to out-argue Coyote), and the amount of damage Ysengrin's just done dwarfs Coyote knocking over just one building.

Yeah, from here I'm seeing vastly increased tensions, rather than all out conflict. I think we're gonna get more of a cold war, than a hot one.
Speaking of that era, wasn't Red wearing some kind of Chinese communist youth uniform last time we saw her? Maybe that was similar clothing that was supposed to just be symbolic but I can't help but wonder if there's going to be some kind of "Court Youth" group that is going to become a problem. This is the kind of scenario where something like that would come into play. Like some weird group of students that are tasked with "keeping an eye" on other students and ratting out potential traitors.
