I've been wondering about that for a long time as well. Maybe Surma feared something specifically done to children born in GC, DNA scans, experiments, implants, who knows...

Don't forget to do warm-up stretches before vigorous hijinks, everyone! I wonder, though, if there is any significance to Coyote's glowing a lovely shade of etheric arrow green while doing his stilt-leg stretches.... The arrow's a bit more in the neon brightness level than Coyote's mossy glow, in my opinion. Compare these greens: Not that the green isn't notable.

I always figured it was because she didn't want the Court analyzing her pregnancy and the passing on of her fire to Annie; not to mention she didn't want Anja to see her wither away and die. But then Tony studied her and also watched her die?

Compare these greens: Not that the green isn't notable. yeah, you're right.... definitely different colors. They might still be different manifestations of etheric energy though, generated by rather different means. One is "artificial", generated by or released from a Court-made device, Deigo's arrow... the other comes straight from Captain Ether himself, the endlessly limber Coyote.... like sweat from his stretching routine! (not really...) Arrow: an artificial "neon" green; Coyote "sweat"/glow: a natural, mossy green. (getting a bit wild-spec here...)
