I just started reading, and I have to say I think this is my favorite webcomic of the 15 I read regularly. I don't know for sure, I'll say something when the post-archive euphoria wears off. GC feels to me like what you might get if you crossed DresdenCodak.com and Rice-Boy.com, with a little twist of Harry Potter. You're a genius, keep it up!

Did I ever mention that the Lavinia wallpaper has been my wallpaper ever since you put it online? Yeah, pure awesomesauce mixed with solid winnage. It even got some of my friends to check both Shakespeare and the comic.
Thanks Tom! Keep up churning out awesome stuff (or else I'll have to fly over there and force you to).
EDIT: typo.

The only way I have ever been able to adequately describe your comic to non-readers is "It's kind of like what would have happened if Neil Gaiman wrote Azumanga Daioh." That is the most perfect description of GC I've ever read. i shall use it in future. Agreed. Also, Tom and GC FTW. I especially like the sillier chapters - Mainly Involves Robots is probably my favourite.

I am saddened to say I found this lovely webcomic, that has stolen part of my life (the time between 10:30 Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and 4:00 AM Monday, Wenesday and Friday) on 4Chan.
Please forgive me.

Tom, the art in Gunnerkrigg court is the best art in a webcomic I read. I am envious of your artistic talent, and although I think that saying good comic has good art is like saying a good video game has good graphics, I don' think that GC could be done without your talent.

I have to say that I was caught completely off-guard and taken aback by the previous page (with the "GOP"ing of the fake Kat).
Well played, Mr. Siddell.

I just wanted to say that besides my appreciation for this excellent webcomic, it has also been one of the best things to happen to me musically in relatively recent times. I might never have heard of the Polysics or The Prodigy otherwise (especially the former) and now I've had several albums from each group for a while and love 'em. Thanks!

I just want to say that i found out that this comic affects me the same way Kentaro Miura's Berserk does, but in a smaller scale, in other words, i wish this comic would update faster cause i can get enough of it... /:

I've been looking at today's update time and again, and I envy your artistic abilities, Tom. Even in the beginning while the art was a little rough on the edges, you had a distinct unique style. It was a style and not just inept doodles. Today, it's full-blown, blossomed into magnificent lines and colors and smoothness, characters with subtle expressions and tell-tale faces. I suppose what I've learned from yours and other webcomic artists' advancement is that perseverance is key (alongside talent). Perhaps someday I will actually apply this knowledge and become a real artist, not remain a mere doodler forever. In this, you're an inspiration and role model, both as artist and storyteller. Hopefully, this post won't make you cringe too bad. Feel free to throw a brick at me or something if it does.

Tom, I think your greatest artistic talent lies in use of color. This chapter has totally confirmed that.

I just wanted to say that it's super awesome that you're planning the story so well in advance, rather than just leaving tons of plot threads dangling like most people do (and by most people I include professional, published authors).
Keep up the great work!

Tom, for some reason when I go to the questions topic the site signs me out. Is this intended? or is it only me?

Finished rereading the archives today, realized that I *have* been following for a while - first comic I remember reading on schedule (though it's probably been longer) is the one where you introduced me to the Polysics. It's worth it, too. When reading all of it in a few blocks the development of your style and skill is pretty damn obvious. Here's to a merry christmas and hoping that you'll be able to keep GC running for a while. I gave you my money, now you have to obey!

I read a lot of webcomics, but yours is the first (and so far, only) one that I've loved enough to buy the print version.
Thanks.
