Kat's computer reminds me of one I saw in another webcomic. Unfortunately, the comic moved from one URL to another several times, and they ALL appear to be dead/stripped.
Anyone know where I can find Planet Karen?

so, er, who are all the figures in the background? Robots apparently, but what are they doing? Just watching over Kat's computer? Waiting for...what?

The walls of that room are mostly lined with non-functional old-model robots just standing there.
By which I conclude the area hasn't had a significant earthquake in quite a while.

Or the current Court Robots take care of their deactivated ancestors, standing them back up, and dusting them off. The Bots didn't seem to know about Jeanne's shrine, but they may have been going down into the large chamber for a long time. Some one put the lights down there. It might have been Anja, but it could have been the Bots.

WOAH. Okay, I'm aware that there are some computers which are just inherently evil, but this one seems pretty unassuming to me. I mean, it has a bunch of green lights, some big cables, a few unnecessary monitors, and that's all. To me, that seems like the bare minimum to make it look advanced (like the rest of Kat's machines) without necessarily being evil. I'm withholding judgement until we find out what the heck it's for.

That beast is not just "a computer". It does more than compute. Although I suppose it could be an example of how things magically (and somewhat organically) grow in the Court, under the Seed's influence. In fact, a lot of the Court buildings grew that way.
It intrigues me that, even with power coming in on utility poles, there seems to be no provision for cooling--and not just the enclosure. All that heat has to go outside the building.
===
I wonder if Tony's means to aim this at his purposes, which involve making contact with his dead wife, or with the beings who took his arm.

I see Kat has set up one screen specifically to view media from those annoying people who shoot video on their mobile phones in portrait mode.

So is Angel Kat a super villain? Cuz I'm getting definite super villain vibes from this vaguely ominous supercomputer in a basement. It's the Court. Mad science is not worrisome. Lack of mad science could be.

Given where she's built it I can't help but wonder if it's a purpose built device to analyse the etheric tech in the older robots and the arrow. attaching a motherboard to a CPU with some wires isn't that impressive. Speculation; she build it using the "etheric tech" Diego used for his robots.
I see Kat has set up one screen specifically to view media from those annoying people who shoot video on their mobile phones in portrait mode. Nope, that's for reading webcomics.

The trapdoor was locked and Reynardine had to pick the lock when they first arrived, so I guess the Court robots hadn't visited this place for a while.

The Bots may have had a copy of the key, and some of the Bots are probably locksmiths. I assumed Anja locked the trap door, but we really don’t know who locked it.

Okay, I'm aware that there are some computers which are just inherently evil... That webcomic seems awesome. Is it all online at that site? A quick look at TV Tropes suggests it's also partly a comic book.

That's not just a computer, it's Collosus from the Forbin Project. Of course this time around it's the Donlan Project.
