I think it would be pretty cool to see Dr. McNinja in colour.

Tom, how often do you check the forum and how much of your time does it waste watching over it? The books (I meant pictures) on this page- www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=23 -are they any thing like the linking books from the Myst series? They for some reason remind me of those.

So I love the Author's notes at the bottom of the pages, since they add humor to a relatively serious comic without undermining its integrity. Will these comments be present in the book?
I'm unfamiliar with the English school progression system, what does 7-11 mean and does the Court have a university?

I couldnt make much of the chart (not a language issue; my french is okay) but I asked a british friend and she said 16th year is 18 year old students... does that make Annie and Kat 9 at the start, and no other students older than 13?

When you get to comic number 666, are you going to skip that number or are you going to purposely make the page involve demons or something?

Um there's also the third option of just having it be a STORY page.

theres no need to worry. Only those reading the 666th page are forsaken, not the one making it.

No, because Tom is a million times better than Mr. Diaz.

I doubt itsince this isnt Questions to Tenjen #2 and Tom was asking a rethorical question... Tom. Which psychopomp in all varieties of human culture, appeals to you the most? If that question even applies that is.

What are your 5(or so) favorite videogames?
Do you like the game Myst?
Have you ever read the book Coraline?

Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Psychonauts, Um Jammer Lammy, Streets of Rage 2.
It was okay when I played and finished the original when it was first released. I never went back to it or any other Myst game. Not my kind of thing overall.
No I haven't.

Your thoughts on Kate Beaton?
and on more comic related questions.
Somones probably asked this before, but is Williams and Janets love ongoing? As in may it appear in the comics?

Everyone sure loves Kate Beaton. Good for her.
Willie and Janet are still together, yes.

Do you have a pet? What do you like more, cats or dogs?

I don't have a pet, but a cat comes to visit me almost every day. It hangs around for a few hours, has something to eat and sleeps while I work.
I prefer dogs generally, but this cat is alright.

Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Psychonauts, Um Jammer Lammy, Streets of Rage 2. I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but if you liked Psychonauts, you might like Grim Fandango, an earlier game by the same designer. It's an adventure, so it's a bit more puzzle-y than the platformer Psychonauts, but it has brilliantly sharp writing, fantastic voice acting and soundtrack, and some of the most interesting art design I've ever seen, a sort of mesh between Film Noir, Aztec mythos, and Art Deco. Since I guess I'm supposed to ask a question in this thread, what do you generally expect from comments regarding the comic? Some strips seem to nearly reach 200 quite quickly, while others may linger in the 30 to 40 range. Do you have any sense of whether or not a page will draw comments when you post it?

Yeah I've finished Grim Fandango. Or at least, I watched someone play through it in one sitting. It was good to watch.
I can usually tell which pages will get more comments than others. Usually it's intentional if it's a big reveal or interesting plot point. In the end though, I don't generally expect anything really, I'm happy people leave comments at all.
