Does Kat have the potential to learn/use the same sort of magic (is that the right word for it?) that her parents use?

We shall have to wait and see.

The real question is, would she want to? I mean, seeing as how she's dedicated to science, I think she would much rather learn that rather than devote her studies to magic. Or perhaps she might learn a little if it can help her with her inventions. I suppose we do have to just wait and see.

Besides, it would blur the notion of Annie and Kat as foils if Kat took up etheric studies.

Kat using magic would be as silly as Annie building a Robot. No, wait...
Question: So far there has been a Treatise page following chapter 7 and 14. Are you planning to do Treatise pages every seven chapters? If yes, is there any particular reason for the number 7?

No reason. The treatise pages just come at the end of a book. The first one was made for the end of the first 7 chapter book I printed myself.

Did you draw the current chapter's title page by hand? How long did it take to make it look right?

No it was a 3D render I made.

Tom, have you noticed a larger influx on traffic on your site since it reached top ten position on TWC, just wondering as that was how i found this wonderful comic.

With how much time you spend on the bus, do you ever see anything interesting or funny, or is it invariably boring and tedious? One time, during my freshman year in college, I rode on a bus next to a sweet old lady who shared with me her theory than insects are actually seeds. And that she'd be cheering the ants on when they rose up and revolted against humanity. Besides, it would blur the notion of Annie and Kat as foils if Kat took up etheric studies. Mezzaphor is right. I think that they may start as foils but end up being symbols both as friends and later their combination of skills in how the etheric and scientific should work together. I started a new thread here to continue this discussion without hijacking this thread.

OH, OH, OH!
Does Annie know/realize that she still has her scar?

I'll throw in a question too. Before Friday's comic, had Annie or Reynardine ever noticed Anja's necklace? If Annie had, did she appreciate its significance before?

With how much time you spend on the bus, do you ever see anything interesting or funny, or is it invariably boring and tedious? I've seen a guy walk over to the front row of the top deck and piss all over the floor. I've seen a clearly mentally unfit guy masturbating in the street in a crowd of commuters at a bus stop. I've seen a guy elbow a woman repeatedly in the face for trying to sit next to him during a particularly busy commute. I've had a couple girls ask me if I was gay because I looked at them before I sat down. I get up at 6 every day specifically to catch busses with slightly less people on them, and I still pray that I won't see anything interesting.

OH, OH, OH! Does Annie know/realize that she still has her scar? No she doesn't. Also, it's a cut, not a scar.

Uhmm, perhaps it's due time to have a Questions for Tom #3... I'll set it up, but please wait since I'd like to make, I don't know, some sort of index, so people will know what questions have been made... hey Mezzaphor, you did one for the Questions to Tom #1, right?

Tom, I absolutely loved the art on pages 512 and on the 2 next pages. (513 and 514) Is there any chance of you releasing a wallpaper-size euh, wallpaper based on these pages? Although I hope that we'll see more of these incredible-looking pages which might be an even better choice for such a thing. =p

Within the Gunnerkrigg universe, did the 'no-eye' logo exist before Renard/Reynardine accepted Coyote's body-possessing power?

Yeah, she spoke Polish in front of her while talking to Gamma.

Tom, did you know that Orientation has been receiving customer reviews on Amazon lately? Only a few so far, though.
On a separate note, did Antimony's mother or her father teach her Polish, or perhaps both of them?

Surma was the one that usually taught her languages. Along with the psychopomps.

Did her father teach her anything at all? Antimony barely mentions him aside from stating that she's waiting for word from him, and her flashbacks tend to center on her mother.
