Both have their good and bad points. Anyone who would say one is better than the other should be disregarded. At last, somebody agrees.

Also what kind of voice does boxbot have? Please do not waste Tom's time asking questions to which the answer is obvious from the outset. ;D Boxbot probably has a terrible voice.

A random thought: does Reynaldine's symbol being mercury have anything to do with his frequently changing temperament? The word mercurial is mainly what springs to mind.

Does Dr. Disaster offer monthly Spacemonaut experiences to students other than those in First Year? If so, which Years get monthly Spacemonautings, and is the experience different for different Years (First Year, Second Year, etc.)?

Tom, are you familiar with the game American McGee's Alice, or more importantly, its wonderful soundtrack? I think it would suit you.

What would happen if Reynardine posessed a robot, assuming it had eyes. Also, what would happen if he left it. Would it 'die'? Would he be constrained by the Robot's original programming? This may not be an issue, of course, as robots in GC don't seem to be entirely technology based.

I am familiar with it, but I have never played or heard it. Oh you poor doomed child Well the game itself is old and in terms of graphics it's utterly outdated. But music is music. Here's my favourite track, title curtesy of Milton: jp.youtube.com/watch?v=KfGoP9divJ0The whole soundtrack is available on the net, so none will have trouble finding it.

This may not be an issue, of course, as robots in GC don't seem to be entirely technology based. He'd be in control of the robot, but it would be fine when he left it, since it isn't a living being. He wouldn't be constrained by any programming.

How very fortunate that Boxbot has sonar transponders, rather than eyes. I shudder to think... Ah, but they look like eyes, and that's the important thing. The doll doesn't have functioning eyes but they're close enough, and Boxbot's transporters were probably intended to resemble eyes.

I didn't read the old topic, but i carefully checked the Gunnerkrigg Wikia under Word of Tom to be sure my questions were brand new. Hope I didn't miss anything.. 1) The name "Gunnerkrigg". Is the name of the location, related to the place? Or maybe is the name of the owner/founder of the school? Or what? 2) About this: You mean that the Court choose between some kind of admission request or that just certain people receive a particular convocation for the school? 3) Talkin' about Zimmy: can you tell us without revealing part of the plot who are the men who "invites" her to go to the Court in www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=193 ? 4) About Zimmy, again: she has her "problem" (or gift..) from her birth, or something happened to her during her childhood? Thanks a lot, for the answers but especially for this amazing comic.

1, All of those I suppose.
2, The Court picks who they want to go to the school. No admission required.
3, They are Court staff.
4, She's always been like that, but it has gotten worse over time.

1, All of those I suppose. Ah! If Gunnerkrigg Court is named after both its location (Gunner's Crag) and its founder, then... was the founder of Gunnerkrigg Court named Gunner?

Regarding this here strip — is it a reproachful "You know that my mother made this", or a casual-interjection "Y'know, my mother made this" that you intended? (Sorry for being a hairsplitting-detail-phage.)

Casual interjection.

Are the psychopomps incapable of hiding from Annie (or Surma), or do they merely feel more comfortable revealing themselves to her because of her empathic connection with etheric beings?

They could hide from Annie and Surma by simply not being around them. Otherwise Annie can see them be default.

If "Gunnerkrigg Court" was made into an animated movie (or series), would you wish for Reynardine in his "great white wolf" form to have a different voice (and presumably voice actor) than Reynardine in his "animated plush toy" form?
(Reynardine's dual form as animated doll and majestic wolf reminds me a bit of Keroberos in "Cardcaptor Sakura", though I don't know if that was an influence on you or not.)

Is that a scar under Eglamore's left eye? If so, is that from an injury he received sometime between chapters 14 and 17?

Is Antimony your favorite character character through and through, or is there one you prefer more to draw, or something else?

I assume a decent voice actor would be able to do a voice that would fit both forms, while still being familiar. Never really seen Card Captor Sakura.
