It's been a long time since I posted in this thread! Tom, do you know exactly what the Tic-Tocs do and why they do it, or are you winging it? I know exactly what the Tic Tocs are for.

Tom, we never see Antimony having flashbacks of her father: How involved was he in her childhood?

Does Zimmy perceive time the same way as the rest of us? Because she never sleeps, I would think her sense of when is bound to be a little iffy.

Zimmy usually determines time through visual cues, such as the sky, or amount of people who are around.

Will your good friend, Bug Of Wall, be making a reappearance? Is he relevant?

He wasn't especially relevant. It was just a thing Zimmy saw once.

How do you think of characters? Especially characters such as Zimmy and Gamma. Did they form gradually or all at once and did anything in particular start you thinking about them?

Would Reynerdine, Mort, or any other Being of the Etherium be able to see those grey lines between Zimmy and Gamma?

Hey Tom. LOVE your work! Got any advice on drawing backgrounds, like buildings and such, for a budding artist?

Zimmy and Gamma specifically have been around for a while now, and they have changed over time.Zimmy in particular has gone through a lot of iterations as I developed what I wanted her to be. Other characters I just try to think of something I find interesting and put them in the story as I see fit.

Hey Tom. LOVE your work! Got any advice on drawing backgrounds, like buildings and such, for a budding artist? Nothing beats reference. Unless you happen to be an architect you won't be able to draw realistic looking buildings without some kind of reference. The Internet alone provides endless pictures of buildings and cityscapes that you can take inspiration from.

It looks rather like an oil refinery to me...

Nothing particular. I just looked at a few different power plants/factories/refineries/stations and stuff like that and cobbled something together.

Say if Zimmy played Games like Half Life or system shock or certain horror movies, and Gamma's lights go out, would the fictional creatures zimmy saw, take root in reality or is zimmy's contortion of reality only to different planes of existence, events in time and "the hidden"?

Someone earlier mentioned Zero punctuation so i thought i might ask what you thought about another video game ranter.
What is your opinion on the satirical videos of the Angry Video Game Nerd?

Zimmy does not play games or watch TV.

You've created a fantastic comic, Tom. An engaging story with artwork that just gets better and better. I eagerly look forward to each update.
A question about the make-up that Antimony wears. Did I miss in the story where it's explained why she wears it, or is that something that hasn't been revealed yet?

Thank you.
It's not been revealed yet.

Thank you. It's not been revealed yet. I thought it was because those were the colours you had when you first started doodling Antimony. I thought I said that in an interview or something. It is interesting to know that they now are of significance to the plot.

The colours were limited by the markers I had when I coloured the first picture of her, yeah, but her reasons for wearing such horrible makeup are part of the story. Not a large part, mind.

Is it going to be part of a Very Special Chapter that explores the devastating reality of colour blindness? Antimony will surely be depressed when she learns that she will never be able to be a pilot or policewoman.

Thank you. It's not been revealed yet. Thank you. I wasn't sure if I'd missed it or not. It's very cool that you answer people's questions like this. Another question for you. Do you plan certain updates to fall on certain days? For example, do you plan to have certain "cliffhanger" installments fall on Fridays to heighten the anticipation, or vice versa? Not having a cliffhanger fall on a Friday as to not make the readers wait a few extra days? Or do they just fall in the order you create them and you're not concerned with what day an update may get published? But rather the overall story.

No, I don't plan what day the pages update on. I split my scripts up into pages and just work on them in order. Any pages that seem to update near a real-world event is just coincidence.
