This is it: my favorite page. I no longer relate to anyone else in this comic except Red. I wheeze laughed so hard at the I love you at the end of all of that I thought I was gonna die. I need a nurse.

Tom! You said this comic was not going to be about romance! But now we have AT LEAST TEN canon shippable still-alive couples whose romance has been explored or acknowledged onscreen by you (Jones x Jimmy Jims, Zimmy x Gamma, Kat x Paz, Parley x Smitts, Shadow x Robot, Donald x Anja, Lindsey x Bud, Margo x John, William x Janet, and now Red x Blue), and many of those were key plot moments.*
(1) Excellent job this is great don't stop!
(2) Can we ever trust the Word of Tom again?!
((Maybe this revives heretofore unavailable hope in an Annie romantic pairing...!))
* Before anyone says anything, yes there is also Jack and the badassest Jenny, but as Jack admits to still being obsessed over Zimmy, I am not sure what to make of their romance. It is either a true OTP, or they have an open-romance clause, or they aren't really meant to be; but anyway, theirs is not a closed case as far as I can tell, whereas the others are fairly stable.**
** We can speculate about Kat/Paz and Jones/Eggs, I think, but maybe not in this thread.

Until this moment, Annie has never had any idea that these two were a couple. She just thought they were BFFs.
This page is the beginning of a very rude awakening for her.
