Well Parley is in front of her for a reason right? With Smitty between her and the ex-fairies maybe they'll evade any harm.

if Annie gets to the surface quickly and seals the arrow in Kat's container, maybe Jeanne will suddenly be released of its malevolent pressure and mellow out a bit ... I hope! I think their best hope at this point is that Antimony can put Jeanne to rest or otherwise sever her connection to her "job" just by accessing the arrow. [edit] George can fight Jeanne to buy Antimony some time. [/edit]

Jeanne appears to have chosen the red pill and rent through Blue's illusion*, in contrast with Annie a while back. Similar expressions. Maybe they should have got Red to bring along a pair of scissors? * (a reference that's only just occurred to me!) So, what Annie did with only a pair of scissors, Diego did with the Green Arrow? Also, wild prediction: SeveredHair Annie is going to have to "absorb" Jeanne in herself. And Behold, the Court's finest creation: The OMEGA DEVICE!

Once seen cannot be unseen. Now it suddenly also makes a lot of sense. Anne is omega device! The end is nigh!!!!!! [No sleep for a week cause of back pain can cause this kind of reactions]

Yikes. Is there even *anything* potentially not terrible about this situation? Also, what are the potential ramifications of removing Jeanne as a guardian? I'm certainly not arguing in favor of what they did to her, but surely there was some reason for condemning her spirit to eternally guarding the bottom of the chasm beyond "We're huge jerks." Yes, there was. "We're extremely paranoid huge jerks."

I'm confident they have a plan for dealing with all of this I think their plan was Blue. The only other Chekhov's Gun left unfired is the Giggleblade. I should clarify: by "confident" I mean I have zero confidence they have any clue whatsoever of what they're doing

I don't think they have any plan B that will allow Annie to keep doing whatever she's doing, but they do have one teleporting-flying-superstrong swordswoman, and she makes a pretty good escape plan all by herself. That said, Jeanne was able to trap Annie's blinker stone before, so things still might go horribly wrong...

... able to trap Annie's blinker stone before, so things still might go horribly wrong... But she is free of the blinker stone now, so at least she's not vulnerable to that particular form of attack.

[/edit] That's more or less what I was thinking - by getting the arrow into Kat's box, the connection between Jeanne and the arrow would be severed (maybe the arrow is broadcasting some sort of control and the box would shield that?), releasing her from her "job". At the same time, removing the arrow might also release the green-guy's soul so that *it* can pass on (assuming it is trapped), removing yet another impediment for Jeanne's ghost to calm down and "cross over" with Annie as a guide. In this scenario, Annie could walk the two of them into the great beyond, all happy and reunited and smiley... (too easy, I know!)

Actually I think that pretty much what IS will happen... ... eventually. Kind of like the newer Disney Princess movies. You know how they are going to end, but you don't know how they are going to get there.

I'm not really sure the chapter icon has showed up in a page yet. That was not exactly the same it seems. And so I'm still confident. Yeah. A bit. I try. Édit : Nevermind. Just checked it again to be sure and that's on that page

Annie pulls out arrow.
Jeannie: "I am free?!?!?"
Jeannie moves towards Smitty. Parley draws her sword but with a quick movement Jeannie sends it flying out of her hand. Smitty is shaking badly as Jeannie glides up to him. Jeannie grabs him by the shoulder and gives him a big deep kiss.
Smitty is dazed. Parley is fuming. Jeannie looks at Parley.
Jeannie: "You can have my boyfriend, he's at the bottom of river."
Jeannie carries Smitty away in her arms as she kisses him some more.
Smitty is still shaking badly. Is it love or something else? Stay tuned for Wednesday to find out!

Hypothesis: Annie pulls the arrow out, and Green Boyfriend Ghost comes out of the river JUST in time to stop Jeanne from killing everyone (edit: Smitty probably helped)

"Oooh i got a great idea! Why don't we take 6 people down into an inaccessible gorge and try to hoodwink a vengeful ghost into letting us steal an artifact! Ah did I mention the ghost is deadly? No? How about that maybe the artifact is wired to the ghost's being? I think just one person that can teleport itself and a passenger out of the chasm and who is also going to be our fighter is enough yes?" I will start preparing for dead people. Yeeeah, maybe they have just a tad bit too much of that 'young confidence' whereas young peeps think they have skills, drive and plans so they can fix this or this or that... ...and then the world comes smashing painful truth in their faces. *prepares for the worst tomorrow*

Random thoughts before I go to work.
- Jeanne's aggression and hatred might have nothing to do with the arrow at this point. Sure, it poisoned her at first, but now she manages her hatred just fine by herself. Pulling the arrow just results in a vengeful ghost killing-machine who can now go wherever she wants.
- Perhaps the arrow itself is the 'Omega Device?'. The court found it (via sending Jones exploring, perhaps), knew it had something to do with the ghost down there, but decided not to touch till they got some research done on it.
- I've read a few posts saying that Kat needs to put the arrow into a 'container'. What container is this? My memory is being a butt.

A ghost that probably could have killed Annie and Parley in past and chose not to. Yes she is angry but not entirely a killing machine. Meanwhile Robot carries an extra chip perhaps from Diego. (May contain similar golem tech as the original robots that shut themselves down)

The next question: "But is THIS what you are?" Cue retracing the rabbit's hole floor by floor all the way up.

I think just one person that can teleport itself and a passenger out of the chasm and who is also going to be our fighter is enough yes?" Parley can do much better than one passenger. She teleported herself and four others the first time she ever teleported -- literally without even trying. Unrelatedly: it looks like now or never for solving the mystery of Jeanne's ability to cross the Annan Waters on her first date with Annie.

Unrelatedly: it looks like now or never for solving the mystery of Jeanne's ability to cross the Annan Waters on her first date with Annie. My guess: Annie was Court. Arguably, possibly, reinforced by the presence of the damaged-maybe-destroyed Tic Toc. So her being on the opposite bank (temporarily) established a portion of that bank as being Court side. Now, one could argue about whether Annie is Court, Forest, or both; but she and Kat (definitely Court) are in the river, not on the bank, and the others (also definitely Court) are probably on the Court side. On other occasions Annie crossed on the bridge, and Jeanne's domain is the riverbank below - not the bridge.
