When she said "anybody can do it," I immediately had the idea of her teaching Smitty some of this stuff so she won't break his torso every time she hugs him.
I actually like the idea of a physically strong female protagonist that has muscle mass indicative of her strength. A lot of female superheroes look more like supermodels than athletes, and I always thought that made it hard to believe those kind of characters' true strength...

I think, we get to know, exactly why Bunny boy wanted to leave the forest. Finally, a big mac with double cheese ... So, our rabbit's real reason to cross the bridge was a more varied diet. The mystery is solved!

The rabbit has developed a taste for meat, repeat, the rabbit has developed a taste for meat. Herbivore turns carnivore. Prepare for the arrival of the Black Beast of Aaarrggghh! Ugh. The killer rabbit was the guardian of the Cave of Aaarrggghh, in which resided the Beast of Aaarrggghh. What a casual Bah, it's been so long since I've seen those films, need to find it somewhere for a re-watch!

"There aren't many teacher's left" Where? Where Parley went, or in gunnerkrigg? What does she mean exactly? That's what I was wondering. I'd imagine it meant in Gunnerkrigg Court itself?

Parley is is learning how to use chakras, that's interesting. Chakras are not channels or pathways. Chakras are points or small zones within the human body. Here is a standard chakra diagram -- note that it looks nothing like the diagram Parley showed us:

I don't think "channel" is necessarily wrong though it can be very misleading out of context. Equating chakra with a point or small area is completely correct but leaves a lot out.

Regarding fighting tree wolves and Ysengrin with bullets: remember that one of the court founders was known as the Artilleryman. If that role has been passed down as well, I think the court has the potential for much heavier firepower than just a rifle. The place has also been known as "Gunner's Crag" apparently (if that wasn't just a mistake by Red).

Parley's right shoulder looks damn funky in that second to last panel.

Chakras are points in the same sense that your electric company's distribution substations are points. They are important - because of the energy flowing THROUGH them. The channels by which the energy flows are also important, and in fact without them a substation would just be a heap of heavily-engineered metal.

I'll wildly speculate that what is being described in the comic isn't categorized as science in the Court's opinion. The explanation(s) for how it works are likely unsatisfactory; the position of Court protector is a traditional fixture but it is probably falling out of favor for that reason as well as the absence of dragons that need slaying.
