lmao at Smitty scoping out Parley's abs. In the same way Annie was scoping out the tatts?

lmao at Smitty scoping out Parley's abs. Your face when your girlfriend in older, buffier, punches through walls, got a bunch of tattoos, rides a Harley (we'll get to this next, I guess), and you can call her up with a flick of your fingers. Noone's gonna mess with Smitty now.

Noone's gonna mess with Smitty now. Smitty's secretly amassing a vast amount of power in the form of allies. He's the Court Medium, has the ability to structure reality, can summon a magic-buffed swordswoman, is friends with the Forest Medium/fire elemental, and regularly interacts with people that Annie has befriended, including a living shadow, a heretical robot, and an artistically unstable coyote with a tree-wolf vassal.

I *think* it's Anja's memory, we don't see it, but we hear about it. (Edit: Yup, thanks download. Here.) Also, SCARPER!

Showing off and showing off. lmao at Smitty scoping out Parley's abs. Technically, not abs... In the same way Annie was scoping out the tatts? Truly, there is something for everyone. I can't figure out where Annie looks in the 3rd panel, however. Then again, it would make sense if Parley got one of these wards near pectoralis major and/or sternum, too.

Let's see... Tattoos useful to dragon-riding swordsmen involve protection from damage (falling and blunt trauma), enhanced speed, the ability to produce giant pink bubbles that reflect fire, among other things.
If it were me, I'd just submit to paranoia and go head to toe with a million tattoos for every eventuality.

You were reading my mind. I wouldn't be too surprised if one of her tatoos was or will be similar to the symbol we saw in #1083

Smitface is like, :I You were reading my mind. I wouldn't be too surprised if one of her tatoos was or will be similar to the symbol we saw in #1083 Eggers seems to have some weird propensity to pick up magic from the women he meets (That's clearly Brinnie's. The pink bubble was clearly Anja's).

Smitty's secretly amassing a vast amount of power I think Smitty is a pretty cool guy. Eh is the Court Medium, has the ability to structure reality, can summon a magic-buffed swordswoman, is friends with the Forest and doesn’t afraid of anything.

You know that's really insensitive of you, Parley; the Robots already had to clean up the mess from one building being knocked down, and now you're just adding to the problem!

Tom: "Better get a closer look at these" Me: Zooms in, is the red tattoo a "113" with small curved "11" and a big stylized "3"? Argh! You got me again Tom. EDIT: And now I can't un-see the red tattoo as a "113". lmao at Smitty scoping out Parley's abs. Your face when your girlfriend in older, buffier, punches through walls, got a bunch of tattoos, rides a Harley (we'll get to this next, I guess), and you can call her up with a flick of your fingers. ... Harley is going to be the name of Parley's Rogat Orjak.

Is this the first time the word "magic" has appeared in the comic?
I feel like maybe we've seen it once before, but not until at least half-way through 'til the current comic. It's either this comic or another one with supernatural stuff going on where that word was conspicuously absent.

Somewhere, Masonbot cries bitter tears of oil and mortar. I wonder, what would the robots' magic-cancelling ofudas do to those tats?

[edit]But I think, drawing runes in the air is quite difficult.[/edit] Agree about Brinnie. Even though, I wonder, whether she was able to teleport like this before, or the court was making her able to teleport through a ward. All what has been said was that Brinnie, Surma and Anja have a predetermination with etheric science. And if I recall right, Brinnie was drawing the ward in the air before leaving her friends. I am not yet sure, what to make of Anja yet. She is so careful - and adorable because of it - to hide her magic abilities.

Parley really didn't think that through. She is going to break Smitty like a twig, when they escape to the bedroom later.
Personally I'd quite like a woman who had muscles, especially if she still acted feminine about half the time.
When she wields Coyote's Fang, everything else will die.

lmao at Smitty scoping out Parley's abs. That would be difficult from behind her. And also somewhat difficult because she opened up her shirt at the top, not the bottom. More likely he was scoping her tats and/or traps.

I'm a bit worried. Parley is still impulsive and clumsy. It all worked out okay with Shadow and Robot but I have a feeling she's going to mess something up!

When she accidentally subdivided Robot, I don't think she realized that the sword she was holding is an etheric object. (And if what she did to Robot wasn't sufficient, I bet she was convinced when it literally cut a shadow off the floor.)
Now, she's quickly learning that SHE is an etheric object.
