Wait, so if they're that specific about <Snuffle>*'s name, do they think they have to shout Red's name since Annie shouted it when she named her? *pronounced correctly I was rereading Chapter 32 From The Forest She Came and I noticed that when Kat says Red's name it is in bold text. So a sample size of one says yes..

Hmm. I've been using the same one since I was in 3rd grade. (I'm 25yo now). I dunno about online names being all that different from offline names. I've been using variants of this username forever too. It's just...become part of my online persona, and fits my personality well. I'm shieet at making up usernames, so I have a quite a big pool, because some of them are always taken. Other notes. In internet the name really makes the man, I think. At least I see I'm leading slightly different roles with each username. Also, avatars make a huge difference how one is seen as a person and also how one perceives themself. Point of study. I originally had that devious looking bug as an avatar and received multiple complaints for some of my crasher output. I changed the avatar to a happy looking dog and got away with stuff twice worse. And as if anyone was interested, but here's the story of "freeman". If you have guys have a rainman memory, you may remember I originally made this account as throwaway to be submitted to BugMeNot. I had recently watched "The Act of Killing" and in the documentary the old ex-gangster and massacrer guy who acted as a host of sorts for the film emphasized several times how the gangsters were "freemen". Actually "preman", how it was spelled by the Cambodians. Get it, a throwaway account, a "free man". Agree, of course she should have known Bugsy's marital status and used the proper honorific Miss/Misses.

Without trying to sound pointed, it's not as if you've "gotten away with" anything. Your...crassness and tendency to "pornofy" underage characters in this comic, as you put it in your status, are still entirely visible. I, at least, have just entirely ceased bringing it up. It's not worth my time, it's just generally unproductive, and you do have a general freedom of speech on the internet (even if I personally wish you wouldn't exercise it here). But don't bother convincing yourself that an avatar modification has changed anything, because it hasn't

Name's a name. Why would one need some dangling parts in front to tell whether you're a he or a she... That’s not really the purpose of "Ms." and "Mr.". Not even close. 'Twas more punny, than you might think, Mister ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). . . . And anyway, try to convey the notion, to a forest creatures.

The difference between "didn't notice" and "didn't deign to notice" may also be subtle indeed. The Good and Great must ever shun That reckless and abandoned one Who stoops to perpetrate a pun.
