So with the exception of Coyote and a Forest medium, this is the only official entry of a Forest denizen to the Court, without being soul harvested and put into a prefab body. That could be a subtle, diplomatic tipping point. Though, would that technically make Shadow an illegal immigrant? And suddenly the comic has a political subtext, too!

Only if the reader projects a political subtext into the comic. I hope a positive Court experience with <Snuffles> translates into a less hostile Court reaction to Shadow. But I can also see the Court suspecting Shadow of being a spy and <Snuffles> being his courier.

I must be misunderstanding something, because they're not in the Court. They're in the Forest. Yes, but Green is going to visit the Court soon and I think she is the first forest creature we've seen on Court premises apart from Coyote and Ysengrin. And a number of shadowpeople and a few treedogs... but (aside from Shadowtwo, later) that was on a rather hostile basis, neither diplomacy nor visiting a friend.

What's on the necklace around her neck? Did we see anything about this in previous chapters after the blinker stone was broken? I forget.

Yes, I should have written "[...] the first forest creature we've seen on Court premises officially [...]", haha.

I didn't notice the distance/low resolution Canvey Island Monster in the last panel (left side nearest to the tree) until just now.

While I suspect they're just a backdrop for getting <snuffle> into the story, I wonder if we get to talk to the forest folk?
I also wonder if this is going to lead to Red being taken down a peg: I mean, another, younger, fairy... who *already* has a name!?

I have a feeling she's not going to the court as a student, but in the same way her rabbit friend did just as a visitor. [Snuffle] and Rabbit, bridging the gap between Court and Forest with the power of friendship.

Agree, and with her visit to the court and (now)-his visit to the forest being repeated by them and others, too, Forest and Court will grow closer together. And who knows, maybe Jeanne will see the traffic over the bridge and find her peace without a need for Parley's swordsmanship. One is allowed to dream, right?

I wish, but I fear that she may be too sunk in her current mental state to be aware of that shift towards peace between the Court and the Wood. Lashing out at everyone and everything out of anger at the double murder of herself and her lover may be the only thing she's capable of by now.

I'd be impressed if anything surprised her anymore. Careful, Tom could probably find a way.

Sorry, I completely messed up the format of the last post. Don't worry, we all screw up the format all the time. There's an edit button, though, which is helpful
