Plus, Coyote has been quiet these past chapters (except for knocking that building over...). "Quiet except for knocking that building over" - things you don't hear often. I suspect that Ysengrin might advocate for military action against the Court, but I suspect Coyote isn't overly interested. After all, if he stirs up trouble, his Medium won't be able to visit at all. I am not sure the image of partying Koyote is reassuring. On the other hand, what are we celebrating? Is it Annie's birthday? Does anyone want to speculate? I am going to speculate that they are celebrating something to do with the plan Coyote hatched on page 286 when he dropped 3 seeds at the court. (The first day Annie meets hims, when he sniffs her and she spanks him away.) We still don't know much about what those were, but I always assumed those were Ysengrin's plan, not Coyote's.

Dammit, you might be right about that. I was thinking too much like a human (or Ysengrin). Bob mentions in Residential that all seeds and plants from the forest are studied and the etheric ties to the forest are severed before being planted in the simulation chambers. I doubt the seeds will play a big role in Coyote's reveal.

I don't think Ysengrin would scratch his bum at the Court without Coyote's approval let alone attempt unilateral skulduggery.

I suspect it went something like Coyote giving Ysengrin free reign to antagonize the Court, just to see what would happen.
