At first I thought that Winsbury calling her "Annie" was very unusual since he's only ever called her Carver before. Like - maybe he IS trying to flirt or act more gentle. Looks like Annie was surprised to hear it too. But I just realized that he now has to call his strict teacher "Mr Carver" every day and probably cannot call Annie that anymore without imagining Anthony's face.

He called her "Carver" in panel 2, then switched to Annie. He is absolutely flirting with her. |
