"I made up a new game. It's called BURNBALL!" Is that like hitball mixed with gasoline and matches? Hm... in Poland we have ball-game called "dwa ognie" which means "two fires"... and I think that this is something similar to hitball, but I don't really know hitball

I see the big dumb giant is still not capitalizing on her size to gain followers, though the path of the firestarter/telekinetic mysterious tough loner bad girl can also be fun I guess. She should show up wearing a sarashi and a surgical mask.

To me it's quite simple. She was hit in the head and got angry. A lot of times people in these kinds of situations will over complicate their motives when looking at their actions, I feel like Renard is just being supportive and keeping it simple and clean in that it was a defensive/reactionary response to injury. It doesn't help that her ability to control her powers is inhibited without her blinker stone. More specifically, I think this is showing her having trouble controlling or understanding her emotions since she reunited with her spirit (or "angry") self.

She merged back with her angry side and now is having a bit of trouble controlling it. Getting hit in the head (or stubbing one's toe, for instance), can cause irrational anger. Annie's anger is merely tied to her ability to "BURN THE PAIN CAUSING THING". Its an instinctual reaction. I know if I had fire powers and was having to learn to regain control over them, I'd have a hard time not scorching the bedframe I slammed my toe against last night.

Because as we all know, dodging was never the important part of the sport anyway.

Because if you fail to dodge, you "burn".

Some of them.

heh, "games class" is such an odd term for gym. I can't help but imagine that half the time they have to go to a classroom and get taught terminology and strategies for various sports. And then being out on the field is just the applied portion of the class Side note: turning the :p smilie rightside up makes it look way more disappointed and unhappy than it appears sideways

Yeah! I was hoping there was another fan here. Reporting! It's a pretty popular webcomic. Also, first thing I thought of when I saw this page:
