formalizing my newest wild spec Zimmy is Kat's computer Did Kat intentionally make her computer a teenage girl? (Is she secretly an Astro-Boy-esque replacement for a future dead Antimony? Is that why they look similar?)

To elaborate my suspicion, Kat’s big trump in the sleeve may be ability to dredge Ether for the entities that left quite an impression, but are not self-motivated. World of Darkness used something similar, in that the ghost of one of the first nukes was used to destroy a part of its spirit world. Gunnerkrigg rules are different, and perhaps more strict, but in the end? We know that Renard is not named after the French word for fox, it’s his name became the French word for fox — and even now he is but one notch from a god. We also know there were things whose names proper not only became generic nouns, but were also borrowed by other languages. Most of them appeared in ⅩⅧ-ⅩⅩ centuries, but still. I think this line happens to fit Gunnerkrigg cosmology rather literally.
