So much revelation.
I take all of this new information about the minds of Kat and Annie as canon.

"Oh no puppies can totally be set on fire!" Might be my new go-to out of context line, Jim.
Also great to see you not a prisoner of Mr. Carver.

"Spare Blinker Stones" still kills me on a second reading.

Yeah, when humans first developed linguistic abilities, with well defined grammars and extensive vocabularies, one of the common side effects was telepathy. Those branches died out in remarkably few generations; TMI is a real thing. Ranged weaponry, that is, thrown stones, were developed specifically to overcome the TP threat, which was only operable over two or three yards due to thermodynamic constraints on low power information transmission over a noisy channel. This is the origin of the practice of stoning. Trepanning was an early attempt to improve transmission/reception; unfortunately, siting was hit or miss, even with active cooperation by the subject. Even if the opening was postitioned correctly, the primitive surgical techniques often caused enough damage to the antenna system to disable the subject permanently. It's unfortunate that Jones was placed in the American hemisphere; had she been present in the Old World when telepathy first appeared, she would have acted as a coordination node. She remains the only extant example of her type. The other two remained embedded in lave; one was subducted into the mantle. Neither ever awoke enough to attain consciousness.

Even the best of friends/sisters probably shouldn't share every single thing. Calling Professor Snape! Professor Snape to the Occlumency Department, stat! Though it must be said that "BirdPaz and the Flaming Puppies" could be a great name for a rock band.

You have made his wild ride a great deal more bearable with your intensely amusing Goodyverse edits. Long live the Goodyverse.

Did someone call for a cereal killer? (:3 Some of them lie in wait.... While others are coming soon to a store aisle near you! (There's a lot more good ones in this meme, but I'll leave it at these.)

Boooooonuuuuuuuusssssss! Woulda had this done shortly after the page went up, but I had some trouble trying to figure out how to do it without making it look like complete crap. Still fairly junky, I think, but meh! It works. You have made his wild ride a great deal more bearable with your intensely amusing Goodyverse edits. Long live the Goodyverse. Hah, thank you very much, glad I could help folks out. It was fun!

Oh my god, just when I thought, "There's no way he'll be able to Goodyverse this!" You've outdone yourself, man! Hahahha, this was so good. Thank you for making these.

shouldn't you turn Kat's frown into a smile? That box is, like, really heavy. Probably contains books. Oh sure, you think as you empty the bookcase to prepare to move (or just to give it a thorough dusting), a novel isn't heavy! I can just pack a bunch of them into this big box and it will be no problem at all to move them all at once!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO at first I thought; Yes! a new comic page, but it's a sad page! (t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶a̶d̶d̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶p̶a̶g̶e shaddup)
nah, it's cool, would be nice if you could make it be a continuation of the previous alternate dimension pages though

I prefer Goth Annie to BDG (Big Dumb Giant) Annie, and generally don't care for the Goth scene.

would be nice if you could make it be a continuation of the previous alternate dimension pages though I did consider it at first, but inspiration hasn't really struck me yet for this chapter like it did with the previous one. I might take a second look here soon, tho', and see if I can get a decent narrative working.

Remodeling help from Kat... Annie's room may end up being a techno rave venue with a teeth rattling sound system, more lasers and smoke than a planetarium hosting Pink Floyd, and DJ-Bot laying down some hot EDM tracks.

The lesson to be learned here, I think, is that if I sit around and wait long enough, someone else does my work for me!

I loved this song until my brain made its own mash-up of this and a certain Moody Blues song. My internal radio kept playing "Bela Lugosi is dead. No, n-n-no. He's outside, looking in."

About a week or so ago I got an email from Photobucket telling me that my hotlinking privileges have been been revoked unless I pay a subscription fee, with an odd sort of undertone to the message like "It has always been this way, and shame on you for using the links we ourselves continued to provide you on your free account". I would figure out somewhere else to host them and go back through my posts to change all the links, but I am, like, superlazy. Seriously, can we reupload the images to Imgur and re-post them? These were great, and the "PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT" message strewn all over this thread now is making me sad.

Maaaaaan, okaaaaaaaay, if I gottaaaaaaaaaaa . . . EDIT: Aaaaaand it's done! That wasn't so horrendouly torturous or an eternity of unending pain, I guess. Plus, I ran across this neat little nugget again: Terrible life advice right here. iiiiiiironyyyyyyyyy

I honnestly never understood why people used photobucket in the first place; it was buggy and half the time I couldn't even see images posted there. Imgur works like a charm and you don't even need to make an account.

Imgur works like a charm and you don't even need to make an account. I originally went with Photobucket because it had a far better setup than Imgur or any other image hosting site I found at the time. This is the first time I've had any major issues with them in the almost 12 years since, and my experience has been that the minor issues have been extremely few and far between. Heck, in all that time, the one and only time I've heard anyone else was having any trouble with my images being on Photobucket was in this very thread. Fortunately it does look like Imgur has vastly improved since I looked at them last. Hopefully I can get a good ten to twelve years of decent service from them too.

I originally went with Photobucket for my image posting (few and far between) because imgur didn't exist yet. I guess I should look into it... but maybe if I procrastinate long enough, Photobucket will experience enough user backlash to relent and make things the way they used to be again.
