So is Eglamore a kid? This page is so awesome. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being not awesome and 10 being awesome, this page is so awesome

I sort of thought it was Eglamore for a second. And those swords are definitely based on the one from the title page. I wonder how Annie will fare in Medium combat training.

Parley Parley looks calm. I thought she would be animated like a cat on coffee.

Woah. He does sort of look like Eglamore. If he's not his kid then he's a cousin at the least.

Jones seems almost happy about seeing him; She must like him a whole lot.

Or perhaps he's her relative (I'm somewhat afraid of out-and-out mentioning the suspicion of motherhood for Jones).

It's Eglamore.

It would appear that Jones is even less outwardly emotional than Annie.
I wonder how much longer Annie will remain an outsider.
Though Parley looks like she's actually happy to see her. Surprising.

Tom, its cool knowing that hes Eglamore, I like how you make these graphical improvements to characters as the comic progresses. (Jones is an example of this, as well as Annie obviously)

Notice how Tom never said it was James Eglamore. It could be any Eglamore! They doesn't even need to be related!

You're right, but wouldn't he say that "Hes an Eglamore" instead of "Hes Eglamore" in that case? Unless of course he likes tricking the readers with his forum comments; I'm new to the forum so I wouldn't know.

Maybe it's just me, but when I first looked at this strip I found it kind of jarring for some reason. I think a lot of it has to do with the odd color palette - the colors are much warmer than what we've seen in probably 95% of the comic up to this point, which gives it a totally different feeling than I'm used to. Lots of pinks, reds and oranges as opposed to the usual muted blues, purples and greys that make up the typical Court backgrounds. I wonder if that was intentional.
The lines also seem thinner than usual but I might just be looking for stuff that isn't there now.

I wonder how Annie will fare in Medium combat training. If I was a gambling man, I'd say it won't be one of her better subjects.

Damn, Eglamore, that anti-aging lotion sure does the trick.

They arent saying anything. Hmm are they communicating mentally? Or they know each other so well that they dont need too many words?
I doubt that whatever annie expected, she certainly didnt expect blade weilding warriors. or the show of affection between those two.

Good lord, Where are these men getting their genes from? Did Eglamore's grandma get jiggy with a Rogat Orjak or what? They arent saying anything. Hmm are they communicating mentally? Or they know each other so well that they dont need too many words? That, or the scene is from Annie's perspective and the conversation is out of earshot. That seems the most likely explanation.

I think Eglamore just got himself a new haircut. Damn if ditching that military buzzcut doesn’t take years off him though.
And he didn’t look that much taller than everyone else in the photo, that’s one heck of a growth spurt.

I don't think it's James Eglamore, our favourite gym teacher. The face is somewhat different, never mind the hair.

Swords? That's not quite what I thought "medium training" was going to involve. I'm betting Annie didn't think so either.

I just wish to repeat at this point that Parley is absolutely beautiful.
Oh and, just how close is Jones to Eglamore?

Very close friends, at the least.
As for Big E's new look, I'm guessing that's another consequence of Tom evolving his style. Eglamore is much more realistically proportioned in the upper body than he used to be, face aside.

I just wish to repeat at this point that Parley is absolutely beautiful. Beat me to it. If this is THE Eglamore, he certainly looks... different. He's not taller than we've seen him so far though. Remember that Jones is short and Parley might not be that tall either. Eglamore, on the other hand, is taller than any of the other adults in the comic.

No, his face looks nothing like Eglamore's. He looks maybe half Eglamore's age, too. This is not a change in Tom's style.
