I had actually meant her body, but I look forward to how Tom handles the transition I hope there will be no problems for her... Ah. Well, I personally don't expect it to be more complicated than the Coyote having a bit of snack. What else would he do with empty bodies, when he said that he can't make life from scratch?

I feel ominous about Coyote if he's doing something with the bodies other than eating them. It kind of feels like he must be, though.
Edit: of course this has been discussed ad nauseam and I didn't read the other threads. Sorry for being redundant.

Hmmm...Perhaps, Coyote is sweet enough to bring it (the body) to her (the newly-minted human) for a type of farewell. Given the title, it would make sense that Coyote is stacking all these bodies into the world's largest totem pole. Incoming chapter end twist that Coyote actually isn't eating them and is totally forming an army of zombie bunnies. Coyote sleeps on a soft warm bed of cute fluffy animals. (His version of the Zimmingham toy shop.) He only eats the ones that aren't cute and fluffy. Et al I think he's just going to eat it, but that seems too simple. I'm curious if he's planning anything else.

Smitty's really starting to grow into his eyebrows.

Eggers escorted across the bridge for Catalyst (the only forest visit since then), but then again Parley and Smits were there too.. And in "Tall Tales" when Jackalope transfer was discussed that was just Annie, Smitty and Parley. And Jones. (He didn't attend the introduction ceremony for Smitty, either. Maybe he doesn't like parties? Jones attended as she was the former Medium and is, of course, the total party animal) Indeed. She even is known for keeping a party hat long after the party ended. Oooh! A thought! Is *this* what the Tesla act with the power house is all about? (Cue image of a windswept Llewellyn lit by jagged lightnings and standing over a wired up body yelling 'More power, Rudy! I must have more power!') Well, perhaps not all about this... I know she's all earthy and back to nature now, but damn girl I would still wear shoes in the freaking woods. She didn't like shoes long before that. In Good Hope. In the Court's building.

I think he's just going to eat it, but if that's too simple, I guess he's going to give it to Ys for dinner. (Ys hasn't had exchange students since he gave up mediating, and Coyote is secretly a big softie.)

Jones was the former Medium... Where is evidence for this? Surma was the previous Medium, and they had not had one since. Maybe she's the acting medium, but I don't remember anything to that effect... ...(and is, of course, the total party animal) Of course. Flambé Annie isn't exactly helpless these days. But another creature that controls fire could complicate matters. That's totally foreshadowing. (Cue image of a windswept Llewellyn lit by jagged lightnings and standing over a wired up body yelling 'More power, Rudy! I must have more power!') yessssssssssssss

I think he's just going to eat it, but that seems too simple. I'm curious if he's planning anything else. Yeah, I've followed the discussion. But sometimes the simplest option is the best. It fits in the Coyote's nature so well to occasionally remind us that he's an animal god.

Besides Coyote's belch, that is. Like you said, it seems too simple.
