I'm pretty sure that's the sky. We had a better view of it on the previous page.

I just started paying attention to the bottom-right corner. Either they are returning to that pool in the clearing where Coyote and Annie first chatted, or there's a very Escher-esque twisting of perspective such that we're looking up at the sky from the ground. I'm pretty sure it's the latter. You can see the trees' direction of growth and the blue sky in that patch, so I get the impression that they're swirling around in a small clearing in the forest, "above" the artist's perspective.

From the page comments... "This comment system sucks for fan interaction. Please consider changing it to Disqus or something else where a) the comments don't disappear as soon as there is a new update, and b) where fans can actually reply to each other." I, for one, am glad that there is a high entry barrier for fan interaction. Not only do you have be observant enough to see the forum button, you also have to possess the initiative to click on the forum button. I normally wouldn't look at the page comments, but I was trying to see how many people also used the Ether Bunny pun. Now I am vexed by lazy commenters and the fact that I was the only one terrible enough to say that pun (here or in the page comments). Karma?
