...that it isn't the real Zimmy. Very well predicted, you're getting good at interpreting Tom's mysterious comments.

I'm glad I missed the accidental mispost, and I appreciate everyone for redacting their comments. Thanks for not spoiling it for me by the time I got to read the forum today! I think that was Tom's doing. The one night I'm not up until 2AM to read the update, I miss all of the fun! 2 AM? Oh, to be true! Sadly, my 3 am leaves me wasting away... I pine for a better time zone of comic posting... In other news, I wonder what the upper bound on Jenny's power is. The circle looks pretty powerful...but she couldn't get the talisman off earlier. I wonder if she just didn't know a circle to pull it off. Yes, pun intended. Finally - Did she actually get Zimmy into her red shirt? Does that make Zimmy now open to the redshirt casualty instead of Jenny?

Also, good sport to actually go along with imitating Zimmy. Why won't she? Especially given that "the little differences" is exactly what she gets to show off in such a flashy way? Also... Headcount! There were three Seraphs! Three! Where's the third one! That is a frightening thought...

Okay, the new girl IS cool...We may keep her.
Also...it seems she's aware of her similarities with Zimmy, and doesn't mind it, despite knowing what happened between her boyfriend and her in the past. Does she know that he had a magically-induced crush on Zimmy?.

If Jenny's already in the tower, then Tom's apparently skipped the actual journey by the students to the tower and inside, where things ought to get their most hazardous. I hope we're not going to get a "too-easy" victory - especially since it could undermine the horrors of Zimmy's world (so far, all that we've really seen of that are what it did to the ship, the crew-bots, and the Seraphs; none of the indigenous beings of that world have shown up - which could play into the arguments of the apologists for the ship and the Seraphs). Though we can always hope that Tom's planning a "dramatic reverse" in the next few pages. Maybe that really is Zimmy, but Zimmy is pretending to be Jenny pretending to be Zimmy. It would blow the Seraph's logic circuits. Or, maybe there are other students also pretending to be Zimmy, like the end of the Three Amigos www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=hrQWTYshby4#t=123

Headcount! There were three Seraphs! Three! Where's the third one! The previous page it was 4. Quote must flow. Anyway, it looked like the higher one veers off - perhaps to cover another exit? Looks like a magical IED... Are we going to have a few pages of urban warfare, Gunnerkrigg Court style? Seraphs aren't quite L.A.R.D. on flying shark-boats. Y'know, now that I think about it, the first hint really should have been the lack of gigantic tufts of hair bursting through the windows. What hair?

I think they're referring to the theory, that the black streams coming out of the building here and here are Zimmy's hair, and she is either the building or inside of it. I've no clue where Zimmy is. Anybody?

She may not know that he felt attracted to Zimmy. Maybe she believes that he just can't get over how her power hurt him and is afraid of her.

The way she said it didn't really suggest anything particularly negative, especially considering their reactions on the previous page.

The previous page it was 4. Quote must flow. Anyway, it looked like the higher one veers off - perhaps to cover another exit? It goes from 4 to 3 to 2 as the pages pass... Perhaps the Nobodies have passed a referendum to preserve their jobs and the character of their town. Now (not)Zimmingham has a protectionist tariff on the importation of electrical appliances into the inner sanctum and there's a 50% 25% fine per page for failure to pay..?

I think they're referring to the theory, that the black streams coming out of the building here and here are Zimmy's hair, and she is either the building or inside of it. The building from which Seraphs spread to find Zimmy? But... it's not like we didn't see both ends of the threads?.. it looked like the higher one veers off - perhaps to cover another exit? It goes from 4 to 3 to 2 as the pages pass... Perhaps the Nobodies have passed a referendum to preserve their jobs and the character of their town. Now (not)Zimmingham has a protectionist tariff on the importation of electrical appliances into the inner sanctum and there's a 50% fine per page for failure to pay..? Yup. Seraphs got way too overconfident in this place. Especially given how Zimmy was upset at them. They may yet find out that Annie and Jenny is not the scariest things around - the hard way. Hence my link to that page. "Yum?" When the other shoe falls, who's most likely to get squashed under it? We didn't yet see any known wonders of the place - like nobodies, spiders or big centipedes. I won't be surprised if on the next page Jenny pops the head out for a look and sees only a lone mangled wing skittering on the bricks, or something like that. About time.

At first I was afraid that Jenny was wearing Zimmy's sweater, but the last time we saw Zimmy, she was wearing a blue one. I've gotten the impression that Zimmy doesn't shower or change her clothes very often.

I'm fairly certain that Kat is gonna wanna recruit Jenny's assistance in the future. She knew of Diego's work regarding golems, who used symbols to receive instruction and perform actions. Kat had trouble interpreting the bulk of the code for the robots, and a witch that uses alchemy-looking symbols would be a great bridge to understanding the instructions.

We didn't yet see any known wonders of the place - like nobodies, spiders or big centipedes.. And I think we'll need to see some soon - if this really is a sanitized version of Zimmy's world with all the dangers banished (apart from the robots getting metamorphosed), I think it takes away a lot of the urgency in the students' wish to get out of there. Tom's had understandable reasons for holding off on them (the Nobodies and Whitelegs played out, the need for introducing a new character and establishing Kat's new abilities, a bit more development for Jack and his obsession with Zimmy), but if Zimmy's world remains nothing more than a weird-looking old town with the horrors removed, much of the force goes out of the story.
