I know it's probably been said before but Paz's dress is the cutest. Paz is the cutest. The sun is shining and everything is wonderful! This guy, this guy gets it.

I'm wondering whether Winsbury is blocking troll Kat, posts with the word 'doofus', or whether the post got the net nanny treatment. I think Winsbury got Kat's message just fine. It's his reply that got the "net nanny treatment". Oh, of course! Nice pose of Kat in panel 3. What will the RN make of a giant merostomatozean wandering the Atlantic seaboard? (if that *is* the Atlantic)

Also, is it just me, or are Kat and the robot both tilting their heads to look up Paz's dress as it blooms up in the second to last panel? Not just you - the physics of Paz's dress in the penultimate panel confuses me. Same. With both of you. The strange physics of Paz's dress in that panel also made me instantly think that someone is doing something to it to peek under it. However, for the reason of physical proximity, I instantly suspected Annie! And when I look at it, it still looks like Annie is mischievously conspiring with Kat and the robot, raising Paz's hem to let them see under it. Wonder if Kat would get somewhat protective about Paz, though, after her initial excitement and curiosity (suspecting she hasn't yet got a view there)? Ophel, where do you think Paz is descending from? I believe it is called information reinforcement, where one affirms a piece of knowledge already known to reinforce its factuality and expunge any doubt or possible ambiguity that may still be present, hence the name. (Yes, I made that up) Nice work!

In my opinion - Both Kat and Paz are innocently oblivious. Kat is too busy checking out Gopher the PurserBot to notice Paz's flash. Paz is to busy reacting to Lindsey to notice her dress. EDIT: Sorry about messing up the quote, can't seem to fix it...

Annie is definitely involved - why else would Tom feel the need to draw her face there! Especially what I've come to think of as her placid 'Fire-Elemental' face. We know how specific she can be in limiting her powers, so who is to say that she can't, without anyone noticing how, create a hot air balloon wherever she wants to? Or a Hot Air Skirt as the case may be... ^_^

I feel that you're looking little too much into it, though Kat does seem to be looking Paz's way in the seventh panel. But I just noticed, all three are wearing shades of blue for this trip. Did they decide a dress-code for this trip, or what?

When was this in doubt? (confused) Some people were speculating that she was like a crab and was walking on the bottom of her pool, , it makes a lot more sense that she can swim though. Who said she isn't walking along the ocean bed?

Who said she isn't walking along the ocean bed? If she is able to follow an ocean liner and is visible from the surface, she is most definitely swimming. Large ships can't move in shallow water.

I don't recall seeing her full length and along the continental shelf which is much shallower (relative to the deeeep sea), it is possible that a creature such as lindsay might be able to reach the ocean floor from their current depth. I was mostly just having fun with that suggestion, though I am wondering how she moves between the Court and the Atlantic(?). Also I think from the angle that Kat is, I dont think she would be able to see much if anything that Paz may or may not be intentionally showing off. I am more worried about that robot. He looks like he belongs at some sort of robot Chippendales.

Hm...Networked robots? I'm intrigued. Furthermore, these robots don't know Kat. Are they isolated from the Court robots, and therefore the Robokult? The robot seems bashful enough in panel 6, suggesting that if he wasn't ready aware of Kat's status, he at least considers her "beautiful and angelic in appearance". So would guess they are not isolated from Robocult at all. Or perhaps, she has a "vibe" that robots can detect. Or they're not used to someone paying them such attention. Either way, they wouldn't need to be part of the Robocult to become enamored. I just realized - Paz can probably communicate with Lindsey directly Hadn't thought of that. I've wondered whether this chapter is about Lindsey. Maybe, Paz will play a pivotal role.

Thank you! :3 Ophel, where do you think Paz is descending from? Heaven, into our hearts. Serious answer: She is descending from an elevated position (her standing position) to a lower position (her sitting/settling on the bed by the window). Add to the fact that she had walked towards the window, there was some trailing of her dress there, and she may have walked at a brisk pace or even perhaps ran towards the window, adding toward the trailing. When she settled down by the bed, some inertia is in effect and (maybe) some air being displaced by the dress (perhaps). I basically mean billowing. Sorry if what I said just now was either confusing or wrong. I stopped learning physics after my 'O' Levels. I kinda understand what Tom wanted to do there with the dress. Forgive the guy about the awkwardness of the execution though, since, you know, we aren't exactly a physics engine coupled with some sort of 3D modelling software. At least I can imagine what he wanted to do.

She could tow a lot of paragliders with all those arms! And no more worrying about hitting the last volleyball into the water! She's probably mostly there to provide moral support, since this is one of those chapters- and make sure none of the kids falls off the boat.

If Kat likes robots, and Paz likes animals, clearly the best course of action will result in the creation of cyborg seahorses.
Speaking of robo-animals, we haven't seen the tic tocs for a while. I wonder what's up with them.

The court is really prepared to have robots available for every occasion. The sailor hats are really cute but if the arms and legs can be white why can't the chest be white as well?

Not just you - the physics of Paz's dress in the penultimate panel confuses me. Starch. Lots of starch. It's bell-like as seen in the first panel, so when she bends... it keeps exactly the same shape along her back, because it's not forced to bend there. Paz has total long-suffering "yes, darling" face in the second panel. Yup. And happy in 7th. To think of it, discovery of Lindsey probably made up for disappointment with laser cows.

It should be careful, Lindsey might like it for dinner. What's wrong with Lindsey's cooking? Even if she is an multi-dimensional, multi-planar and multi-eyed creature from beyond that world/universe, I'm sure she can make some mean plankton seaweed wrap to which she and Mr. Octopus can enjoy together. Heavens, with whatever knowledge that she has, she could even make better vegetarian dishes if anyone wants! Being and extra-mundinal (from Latin mundi, genitive of mundus, meaning "world" or "universe") creature, she may have a different taste palette to which she can access through her existences outside of that world.
