Thanks  I like to see the end result before I post , and I would like people uploading the avatars to proboards instead of linking. (that won't work with the userbars) I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use dropbox as an image server this way. always great. The first I would ask for would be Introduction, the second Wild Spec. But I don't think Tom wants to change anything on the forum right now. Wouldn't mind though |

Nice to have new users getting comfy when they start out. Wild spec not exactly a skill I have or exercise, but it's useful for anyone who wants to share (or dump) their postulations somewhere. |

(Re-)discovered the lasso tool. Makes it so much easier to deal with straight lines properly.. My favorite way of making selections is by using the Pen Tool. Takes a bit more to get used to it, but the ability to go back and tweak each curve (and also the fact that it does both perfect straights and perfect curves) enables you to do some crazy selection stuff. 'cept for hair/fur. Masking hair/fur is probably the one task Hercules himself would fail. |

It just seems like overkill most of the time, while with the lasso you just click 5-6 times and have a simple polygon selection to work in. Maybe for precision work? I dunno, most gimping I've done is utter nonsense like bluh so quality in AA and such is usually just stays an afterthought  |

Proboards has always had a problem with auto-linking so I've been typing them manually all this time but lately I've often had to redo links two or three times before it takes in entirety. The same error was happening when they first made the changeover but I thought they'd taken care of that. Guess they rolled something back? |
