Whoa. (bowled over by all the win that has happened) Alas, a humble contribution to follow. I actually had a moment of idleness today (yay!) and there are a couple of anatomy & distortion issues, but I'm not going to worry about it. Click for doubly size.

Very Aubrey Beardsley, a Yellow Book Annie. Yes, I can see that; however, Beardsley is disturbing. Very, very disturbing ...

I don't know how disturbing you might find it [depends on personal taste I suppose], but Melinda Gebbie did some beautiful Beardsley homages in 'Lost Girls'.

'bout time I contributed something instead of just staring in wonder over Tom's work. My friend Ant and I just finished a collaboration piece centered around Gunnerkrigg Court, featuring our favorite characters. The image itself is pretty large, so as to not kill the forum I will just post the link to it here: asukaisms.deviantart.com/art/The-Girl-and-Her-Ghosts-69838447I haven't drawn in a decent amount of time so I'm pretty rusty, but I've been doodling Gunnerkrigg characters all over the place. Enjoy!

O.o Anthony's smile is freaky. My friend Ant did that part, and I burst out laughing when I saw it for some reason. It reminds me of those shadowed bad guys from old school anime shows -- they only have the light reflecting off of their glasses and the evil grin.

Here's a challenge for all you budding artists:
Red and Janet. I bet they'd get along just swell...
Imagine a sarcastic tone.

You made that in a moment of idleness? When you have a free day what do you do? the Sistine Chapel?

Storytime yay! Back in June, on the other forum where I hang out, I went a bit crazy and offered to draw avatars for anyone who asked. Miss venndiagram asked for "an awesome lady knitting". My mind made the leap from "awesome lady" to "Anja Donlan" and I realized it could be an avatar and GC fanart. It also tied in nicely with venndi's theme of circles and Venn Diagrams. Then venndi came here and told me that I ought to share it, so that's what I'm doing. (Yes, it's a big avatar. They're pretty lax about avi size over there.) Ha, sweet avatar! Kats mum + her magic skills = woop woop! Hey, isn't venn from the dinosaur comics forum?

Playing around with 3dsmax doesn't look much like Annie, but I'm lazy to fix now.

Sure am! Were you over there? monkeybutter? No, I'm monkeybucks ^^. I was there for a while (a while being like a month), then I left...I can't remember why. Actually I started there just before monkeybutter came back for a bit. Occasionally I pop in the TaBB irc, get very angry, then leave. Heh heh heh. More on topic: I'm so angry my scanner doesn't work any more!!! I have way too many ideas for GC fanart but my lack of a scanner does not inspire me to start.

I've been meaning to register on these forums for a while now. Figured I should upload this to join the amazing artwork I've seen so far.

This was supposed to be a Christmas picture for everyone, but I ended up getting deathly ill(still am at that...) and so I finally finished it today... it's not as perfect as it could be, but I think it's pretty good for someone who can barely keep her head up.
