I am pretty sure Jones could claw her way out of the center of a Neutron Star. By "claw" do you mean " swim?" Here's hoping she'd float. In a neutron star? A spoonful of neutron star weighs billions of newtons. Jones probably weighs a few hundred kilograms. She'd shoot to the surface like a cork.

I'm surprised to see that NO-ONE likes the forest. Really guys? Seriously? What about CoyoteRebornEspecially as they are likely to have all the buds. At least they have some bushes and quite far out trips too. On the other hand, I've heard the court has crystal. Maybe that weighs.

I love the forest ! If there wasn't a Jones' option, I would definitely, before and above anything else, pick the forest !

Surely in a neutron star the gravity would turn her into fellow neutrons? I'm 70% sure that jones is not made of normal matter. I picked jones because she basically represents the neutral observer.

Surely in a neutron star the gravity would turn her into fellow neutrons? That's, um, hm... That's actually a really good question. We know she's impervious to human means, but those don't always involve the forces needed to alter the idea of matter itself. You'd have to field that one to Tom.

I don't think we are even close to the endgame yet. There is still so much we don't know. Heck, I'm pretty certain some of the players aren't yet on the field yet, let alone on sides.

In a million years, when all this Court vs. Forest nonsense is over, when the Seed Bismuth has rotted and died, when the nations and cultures of this world are no longer recognizable, when humans themselves have evolved beyond our current understanding, and finally, planet Earth has been abandoned by its children . . . Jones will still be there. Watching. And waiting. The endeavor of the Court, as I understand it, is to supercede mortality itself and become as gods. We'd still be around.

I now want to see Jones as an astronaut. She'd be a royal pain to move, but it would be wonderful to see her on another planet (assuming the separation would not be detrimental to her health).

Bah, who needs reading comprehension? Informed citizens. Effective human beings. Buncha losers really. when humans themselves have evolved beyond our current understanding, and finally, planet Earth has been abandoned by its children In my mind I like to imagine that Earth will always remain special for our descendants out in the far corners of the multiverse- a sacred place.

Always is a long time ... when the Sun expands into a red giant, big enough to swallow Earth, will our descendants have towed it away to a safe distance?
... or will it from then on remain in their memories only?

Jones will reach out and push against the sun.

Jones will reach out and push against the sun. Except that the sun has no solid surface to push against, and the Earth will have long been ripped apart by tidal forces and consumed by the sun. Assuming she hasn't hitched a ride off the planet by now, she'll spend a couple million years floating around the inside of the sun, and then once the sun collapses, she'll either get blown out into space in a cloud of gas and dust, or spend another few million years in a dwarf star.

Pfft, "solid surfaces". The tidal forces are what she's gonna be pushing against. Of course, it's kind of a moot point what she's gonna be pushing against since what's almost certainly going to actually happen is that the sun is suddenly going to remember she's still down there and back off of its own volition. Also, the sun is going to be sentient by that point because reasons.

If Jones started existing around the birth of the planet, maybe she'll stop existing around the end of the planet, because she's connected to the planet. Jones will never go astronautin'.
