I think maybe it is because there is no definition to the bottom lip. They are very neat, though. I like the style.

Aww... The feet are a bit weird, but except that it's awesome. I think she's just standing on the inside edges of her feet, like some people do when fidgeting. Goes with the blushing. Aura, that's so cute! I love the way her hair came out, especially with the shine. Really nice.

Thank you everyone *blush* mrw: Yeah, that's exactly what's supposed to be happening, but given my inability to draw exactly what I see in my mind; it's not surprising her feet look weird >.> eggie: aura-alora.deviantart.com *shameless self-plugging* LAUGHING ON LINE XP

It's just kinda hard to stand like that, with no real center of gravity. At least it is for me, and I'm kinda good at standing in weird ways. And Kat probably don't have fantastic balance. By the way, I noticed you haven't gotten Kat up on deviantArt. And I assume you won't mind having another watcher.

It's like a blend of Tom's style, capturing the characters and settings perfectly, but still with your own unique twist. I especially like the top-notch job on the trees.

So many awesome artists!

Well, I like your style.
And Myrani: The style really looks like Tom's style and the shading is cool.

Bravo to Aura and Myrani for their superb artisitic talent!
Kat is simply adorable in you drawing Aura and don't worry: I also have trouble drawing what I imagine in my mind, so I'd rather have a visual when I want to draw or paint. Also, I suck with computers for drawing, so I don't think I might post some fanart sooner or later :S
As for Myranni, you've really captured Tom's style in that one, which is purely awsome!! I hope you keep on posting some nice pictures like that one!! Keep up the good work!!
Bravo again for both of you!

Kyra, ... those are very evocative. Nice composition, too. Feels like Zimmy and Gamma in their late teens. You've brought out beauty in Zimmy that I knew was there - nicely done. Poor Gamma, though - the burden of supporting Zimmy has weighed heavy upon her. She's strong, but her eyes are tired - it's very appropriate.

Thanks so much! I guess I kind of wanted to show them in a little different style and light?
I think Gamma's very tired. That sort of thing has got to wear down on her.

Rrrgh, I just drew a great picture, but I don't have a scanner! I'll get it here eventually... GKC FORUMS OR BUST! Run to the bank and slide your drawing into a deposit slip and deposit it into the atm. Make sure you make the deposit amount approximately proportionate to the quality of your drawing. Wait a few day and check your online banking account and hit "VIEW CHECK" on your most recent bank statement. You will have a scan of your drawing, download and re-upload. This works and everyone who says otherwise is a whiner.

A picture of Robot I drew: Tried to draw it with a perspective from above, and it almost worked, but I think the angle of the shadow and the fact that it gets wider instead of tapering kind of ruined the effect. That and the fact that I can't draw in perspective. I've always thought Robot was one of the more intriguing characters, what with his actually being like 2 or 3 characters at once.

Actually, I think the perspective worked - it popped right out at me when I first looked at the picture. Nice job. Especially on his wooden arm. It's too big. Edit: Geez, I'm a crybaby. Sounds like you need some decent graphics software so you can re-size it. I use the Gimp - it's powerful and it's free, though it can also be kind of confusing. Pretty much everything you need can be found here. Read the whole page, then follow the "automated installer" link. www.gimp.org/windows/(I'm assuming you are using windows - though I use Linux myself, and they have Mac OS-X versions as well.)

Yeah, this thread is all kinds of awesome. Really makes me wish I could draw, but even back when I was somewhat able to draw cartoon characters I was never quite able to draw girls for some reason, which would be a bit of a problem when drawing GC fanart.
