Then there’s people like me. Although I care a lot whether a wallpaper looks clean and have a nice place for the icons, I simply don’t have icons on my desktop at all (okay, there’s two; none of which I actually use), so I don’t mind having a busy wallpaper. I would gladly use yours if I didn’t love my current Night Vale one so much. And I go the other way: quite a few icons on a solid-black desktop.

albeon - I love the wallpaper, though I concur with QuotePilgrim that it's a little busy. You could actually just have the buildings and the tree (ie cut out the branching designs, as pretty as they are), and it would still be a good wallpaper

Nice space to place icons, and it isn't overly busy.

Well. I was trying my hand at drawing, and, um. See for yourself! (Hand-drawn, shaded with colored pencils) Considering how bad my art usually is, I'll admit I'm proud very proud.

Facebook is having an art challenge called "Drawlloween", where you have to draw a different monster/creature each day. The theme for Oct. 1st was "ghost", so I did a little tribute to Mort ... Attachments:

Angry coyote pushing over a building would probably be pretty terrifying.

He is daring others to try and steal his stuff.
I wonder how much a fully laden pigeon can actually carry in flight...

If you are in the Netherlands and you see a guy with this on the back of his hoody: it's me. It's great to have granddaughters! Little extra on the pocket:

Does anyone know what happened to the "Annie is a Sad Panda" picture? I thought of it the other day but I could not find it...

Further criticising of artwork in this thread (unless asked for) will result in suspension or banning. OK, so apparently this is a thing, IDK if it's still in effect but if it is, criticism is totally fine on all of my art, retroactively and in the future. In other news, rereading this thread, i.imgur.com/GajeXaJ.jpg holy shit (all credit to Riess for the amazeballs picture.)

I haven't seen any criticism posts deleted yet, so i doubt that will go into effect unless it gets out of hand.

The poster probably was given a private warning, but other than that I doubt too much was done.

I made a thing! Kat as Faith from Mirror's Edge. Kat loved Metal Gear Solid, she's really missing out if she hasn't played Mirror's Edge (and Catalyst in a little while ) Thanks to KMar for helpful criticism and Daedalus for encouragement, among other people. Big version here.

I haven't played Mirror's Edge, but that's a great picture, lots of character! Bit of a doodle: Now Antimony's recovered at least some of her confidence and Reynardine's out of harm's way, maybe it's time for a heart to heart with her dad about what he told Donnie? For some reason, I imagine it going like this...

Just throwing it out there, for people looking for wallpapers there's a tool called waifu2x that does semi-intelligent upscaling of images. Specifically, hand-drawn-style images: (clicky for big)

Ehe... so there's a meme going around on tumblr (as usual) where one draws characters over an amusing base image. There's a lot of these, actually, but I thought this one was apt for GKC. So, without further ado, I present to you an alternate ending for chapter forty-five:
