Someone else posted that gif already, somewhere in this thread. I just recently created this account so I didn't know that someone had already posted my art, sorry about the repeat. But as the person that drew it, I'm kind of disappointed that the previous post wasn't sourced. In the future, proper sourcing for that gif or any of my artwork would be to my tumblr, thanks. Edit: Thanks Gulby and stealthygc! c:

Here’s Kat, done (more or less) in my own style. (I wonder how many of you can tell which other character -- from a completely unrelated work -- I used as reference.)

Yep yep I do approve.
I'd like to say I'm really excited that a lot of the original artists that we've been fawning over for so long are starting to fill up this thread. It makes me happy and grateful inside, like green tea.

that's adorable, Quote Pilgrim! Thank you! And oh my god, that must be the best Zimmy artwork in existence. I am seriously considering using it as my wallpaper. (Although I really love the Paprika one I'm using.)

Sup dudes and dudettes, just wanted to drop by and show everyone the comic I've dedicated to Tom, otherwise known as my favorite webcomic artist on the planet, as well as John Campbell, another great, admittedly less talented webcomic author. It is my belief that these guys were the victims of a cancer that has been plaguing society since Fred Flintstone walked the earth, societal stupidity. I feel horrible that Tom was harassed on twitter/tumblr by a bunch of unrestrained psychotics who used their alleged "gender" to attack him and manipulate his emotions. I don't think your gender matters if you try to get Tom Siddell, a modest and respectable artist/writer who has made beautiful art and appealing characters, to harm himself. You're a prick no matter what; not because of who you are but what you do. My heart goes out to you, Tom, as a fellow artist I look to you for inspiration. Please don't let these idiots get you down, my friend, for they aren't worth a fingernail. You have made a great contribution to humanity and all they have is a big pile of baby diapers that they pissed themselves in and cried about. And might I add, Annie and Mr. Mummy Goblin thingie are looking really cute today? Keep on doing what you believe, for that is the way of the Blended Goose Have a radtastical day, brewskis! shittywebcomics.tumblr.com/image/82392034534

I am sure our esteemed author appreciates that you support him, but this may not be the most helpful way to express that. Tom has already made an apology and made it clear that he'd like the whole fuss to be over. After all, if you felt that you had made a big mistake, would you want it to be repeatedly brought up, regardless of intentions? There were a couple of threads on the topic a while ago, and they were quickly locked or deleted. I think it's time to move on and enjoy the comic.
It is also worth noting that this forum is, by and large, fairly supportive of the transgender and LGBTQ community, so the vilification of those groups, for humor or otherwise, may be seen as poor taste, even if some part of that community has done something that we think unjust.
EDIT: I note that your comic's roughness (or clarity, whichever you prefer) seems to be a hallmark of the blog it is hosted on. In that case, carry on. This is the internet and you're welcome to offend people, but please, do consider your audience, at least when your audience is someone who you respect (such as Tom). Also, props for making the first fan art of Tom, rather than his characters, that I have seen. I wish I was as tough and manly as this depiction of him.

Also, props for making the first fan art of Tom, rather than his characters, that I have seen. I wish I was as tough and manly as this depiction of him. Thanks a lot for your honest words, my friend. My bros and I on that tumblr actually conceived this comic right when the incident happened but my art studio was relocating across town so we had to put it on pause for a while. The only reason I figured we should finish the comic and bring it up again was because, well, Tom never got an apology from the people who hurt him (the thing with John Campbell is still going on I think too) Of course this comic is not anti LGBT (+ whatever things they feel like adding) its poking fun at the trans people in particular who went after him for an offhand comment they misunderstood. As we all know, Tom wasn't eluding to transsexuals with that comment he made but instead, he was criticizing the sexist depiction of female character in some movie, saying she was basically written the way a stereotypical male character would typically be written, hence the "woman with a dick" statement. Thus, we are mocking the stupidity and victimization that these people had chased after Tom with. Its easy to misinterpret the message so I don't blame you for thinking it was an attempt at vilification. I have nothing wrong with transsexuals but they should be allowed to be called out on their neglectful behavior, neglectful behavior that could have taken the stellar Gunnerkrigg Court away forever. I thank you again for being so polite as this comic hasn't received a lot of positive feedback on the internet. Tom is an inspiration to me as an artist so I feel that he deserves someone strongly sympathizing with him. The amount of love and care he puts into his art, writing and fanbase deserves recognition beyond what he's currently receiving. A lot of webcomic authors lack this ability greatly and seem to think they're above constructive criticism (Diaz, Preston etc) but I have never seen Tom boast about his beautiful artwork or magnificent story telling. I don't know the guy personally but he seems unbelievably modest despite the wonders he can imagine, that takes an incredibly mature person. The people who tormented him to the point he wanted to take his life were in the wrong, no matter what gender/sexuality they are because he is a true progressive unlike them. (If you don't believe that, just look at how he writes Annie, Paz and Kat. All three are unique, likeable characters who aren't defined by their gender but who they are as people) Well, I won't rant anymore in this thread as its neither the time nor the place for such diatribes. Just wanted to give Tom some heartfelt words to let him know that there are people out there who believe he is a genuinely good person. /rant over, dudes. Keep on being mondoriffic! Peace out! (PS: The reason Tom is drawn that way is because its based on one of the few prominent pictures of him online. I'm glad you like his depiction because I wanted it to be accurate. )

And now for a different kind of fan "art": I just released a piece of electronic music (I guess it would be glitch hop) inspired by Antimony. Fittingly enough, it's called "Fire Spike":
Anyone know if there's been any other Gunnermusic yet?

There's at least one music thread floating around, and some of the dub projects have made their own themes and whatnot.
