Something occurred to me: how is this the official art thread? Isn't that "Tom's artwork"?

But how is she going to move??? Her mom finally bought her a new thermos, and she grabbed some wire coat-hangers.

This is not a fanart I think, this is a drawing by Tom; the tumblr you linked is explicitely a compilation tumblr where all the drawings are reposts.

I'm still learning... (I like to think that she keeps reliving that moment, over and over again)

Your technique is great, and I love the style, now try working on the color scheme/contrast.

Wow, thanks! I didn't even know I had a technique! Haha I'll try and use more contrast with the colors and all. Thank you for the tip!

Here, I tried to fix it. The keyword here is "tried".I especially love the hem of Jeanne's dress/robe. Very simple yet elegant. Wish I could draw like that. Thanks! It's not difficult, really. All you have to do is not know how to draw, and then start fiddling with illustration programs you have no idea how they work. (Did I say it right? I'm not very secure about my english skills...)

I meant between the background and foreground. I thought the background was too detailed and bright, and it detracts from the focus of the piece.

How about this one: Better, but think darker: the scence took place at night, the only illumination coming from the green arrow. It should be almost black, maybe a touch of green. A lot better though!

Just finished coloring this! Also, here's a redraw of the Robotic Walking Device panel. Just a sketch.

Actually it's not supposed to be that scene, but a memory of it or something. I get your point though, so here we go: Alternatively: Which is so small you can barely see the details... I'll remember this for the next picture, but for now let's just zoom in a bit:
