I think that second one may be my favourite image in this thread.

The Smitty and Parley one: Awesomeness! Somewhere at his feet there is a large pile of dropped pens that is steadily increasing.

I was just looking at that a few days ago and thinking how it was probably the best fan drawing of Annie I'd ever seen. Snipergirl's drawing is also very cool.

I was just looking at that a few days ago and thinking how it was probably the best fan drawing of Annie I'd ever seen. That's what I thought when I saw it on deviantArt. Fantastic work, sakyru! I think it shows Annie's character better than many pieces I've seen. Also, many people struggle with drawing young people, but you clearly do not.

Pretty cool I've seen it described as "epic-level," and it definitely fits the bill. Starting on tracing the forest symbol. Not sure how long I'm gonna take with it (not exactly experienced with Inkscape and it's on the complex side), so just putting up what I'm going to use for the trace in case someone wants to use it for [insert some form of reason here]. whee~

View Attachmentwhee~ Ah, that is actually exactly what I need. I've been trying to find a good picture of the Gillite Wood blinker stone signal to use on the map, but it seems there is just the one, and it's slightly off-kilter so it doesn't want to read well in GlassGiant's ASCII converter. Cutting out the background will make it a lot easier to paste.

Ok, kinda finished. If someone who knows how to SVG properly wants to clean it up a bit, make it symmetrical or align it to a grid etc, then have at it (if you don't, have at it anyways ) Imgur linkAttachments:forestVector_0.svg (52.48 KB)

I tried to make a wallpaper based on page 1208. (The operative word here is tried) It's in a 1366x768 res now because that's my laptop's screen res, but I can make other sizes if there's interest. I really got fucked by the horizontal stretch, but if someone has a squarer monitor it would definitely look better.

The image converter doesn't seem to be able to read any contrast. That's weird... Tried adding a white background and increasing the number of characters, but no dice.

So there weren't any transparent pixels or anything? Odd.. Attaching something anyways, worth a shot I guess. Personally I haven't had any of this kind of problem with GlassGiant, but I dunno. There's also picascii.com, but you generally have to shrink the image to 50% height or else it gets stretched vertically. Attachments:
