When I was living at home, I stole our big-screen tv, and used an hdmi cable to turn it into another screen. Pretty awesome. Awesome indeed. How big was it? About 50 inches, if memory serves. (Hope no one noticed my snafu...)

It's very easy to forget at this point that y'all are talking about TVs and computers.

No I didn't, I think you already asked this question last time I linked to a deviant art account. If it was my own art I would put the image here directly.

So coool... Bordering on anime style. Did you do this? Tom was largely influenced by anime/manga styles, you know. Also, yes, very cool. It's one of my favorite Antimony pieces so far. I think this fandom is spoiled rotten, between a spectacular artist/writer and the incredibly artistically talented artists following him.

I'm not going to pretend like I know how to critique art, but that's pretty cool -- Random idea for someone ambitious: golem heart wallpaper. Maybe with Diego Code in the background? [ 1 2 3]

Guys, I'm thinking of making a carving of Coyote over winter break (It's either that or a miniature functioning Boxbot). Please suggest panels from the comic for me to base his pose off of. Lord Coyote is welcome to participate. I won't promise to ever finish it, though - I am terrible about getting things done.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I have a block of 10"x5"x5" basswood, a low-quality knife, a coping saw, and a set of cheap chisels and gouges to make a full figure of Coyote. Like I said earlier, I'm taking suggestions on what pose to carve him in. I would prefer if you could link to a comic with Coyote in this pose. I plan to paint it with acrylics, which will probably not turn out well.

I drew sad Annie This is my first time posting in a message board so I hope I'm doing it rightWell done, and welcome to the forums. Don't be too shy - we can smell weakness. Remember, the worst we can do is ban you, and then you can still read the comic.

the worst we can do is ban you, and then you can still read the comic. "we" There's only three set rules, so you pretty much have to try (or have the maturity of a seven-year-old or something) to get it "wrong", hehe. Welcome aboard, feel free to introduce yourself ..oh yeah, art. Looks pretty good like the hair highlights. * Gotolei attempts to act like he knows what he's talking about when it comes to art! It's not very effective...

www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=485I'm a fan of his pose in the last panel, but I don't have a terrible lot of carving experience, so I'm not sure how hard or easy that would be.

I'm confidant that I can carve most shapes at this point. I'm fond of the 4th and 7th panels here, but of course I'm still open to suggestions.

I was going to suggest the page before that, actually. Getting it to balance on one toe would be tricky. Rock it backward to rest on three feet and it wouldn't be nearly as nice a pose. Although this would definitely be a worse choice... Ah. Panel four. May need to ask Mr. Escher about technique.

Although this would definitely be a worse choice... Ah. Panel four. May need to ask Mr. Escher about technique. I could just carve a base. However, action poses aren't a good idea in general. It's tough to show action in a carving, but it's a possibility.

1-hour cut out of the Court's floaty sky signal thing. Cedar plywood on melamine. The edges are too rough because I cut them out with a coping saw afterwards, which has really coarse teeth. Thanks to Gotolei for the outline.
