What kind of "weak" is annie? certainly she's not overly afraid of things - especially new things.
What kind of strength is Ysengrin looking for?

What kind of "weak" is annie? Social skills. She is still completely oblivious to the existence of the PazKat.

I wonder sometimes why he always has her ride on the side with the bad ear. Doesn't that make it more difficult to hear her?

He may lose some ability to determine direction by sound, but that would hardly be relevant to the situation when Annie's riding by his shoulder.

I guess now we know why Ysengrin of all people was the Forest's Medium. It appears as if the Gillitie Medium had other duties besides just talking to the court. I'd imagine that his job is to mediate between different factions of the woodland creatures as well -especially with these "things what go bump in the night).
I'm willing to bet Ysengrin did this exactly the way all animals establish pecking order: through shows of force and resolve, never showing a moment of weakness. That's probably why he says that Annie is too weak: she can't waiver, can't show fear, can't ever yield even an inch, if she is to succeed as the Forest Medium.

Is that a Ghoul behind them? Oh I do love Ghouls because of their mystery. Are they undead? Are they cannibals? Are the definitely-not vampires? Who cares? They're GHOULS!

I wonder if Coyote would fear to tread here, although he probably has no reason to anyway. Also, pfft on the centipede, I would be more worried about the sharp toothed goblin, the two bears, the brown goblinoid, and whatever the huge thing lurking in the background is. It's... kinda weird how we prioritize what we think is least frightening on this page. For all I know, the centipede is a gentleman, and the goblin things just want hugs. Maybe this is where they throw the human-lovers. True, they could turn out to be nice guys, sort of like these guys here who were actually just sent to give Mort a good pants-wetting scare and deliver the card.

Social skills. She is still completely oblivious to the existence of the PazKat. Who and/or what is PazKat, how social skills are solely responsible for detection of ditto, and why do you think Annie is oblivious to the existence of ditto? It prob'ly looks mean but turns out ta be a nice guy! Yeah, dat always hap~

I guess that these cheerful fellows don't count as "creatures of the Forest" by Ysengrin's reconing. Maybe they are human creations? WE ARE HERE TO DESTROY YOUUU!And all that is implied.

Turns out Fun City is in the middle of Spook Central. "Ysengrin! Tell her about the Twinkie."

The bugs just look big because they are close to to the viewer. That beetle does look pretty big though.

Remnants remain to remind. Nice, Ys, how creative. Annie takes this pretty calmly. An alliterative tongue twister is not nearly capable of confusing her. Yes, I definitely meant Ysengrin's repetitious use of language and not to the monsters creeping around.
