Ah, I was late- oh well! Did someone just add starch and flour to this plot because it's THICKENING! *cricket noises* I'll stop now. Maybe Kat is just asking Paz what to do if someone sends you a love letter! Everyone will be like  It was from Paz! And it'll turn out Kat is just going to her for advice about the letter and we won't find out who wrote it for like 60 chapters. |

I wonder what made Parley ask about Kat. They hadn't mentioned her in any of the dialogue we got to see. Another mystery unfolds! And because it's Gunnerkrigg Court, we're going to pull that mystery apart til we're all crying. |

Things I'm okay with: The letter being from Paz because honestly, they'd be a cute couple. You're young, sexuality is fluid! *rose petals*
Or the letter being from City Face. City Face is truly a super wow cool fellow and any letter from him would be a doozy!
The only reason I have doubts about the letter being from Paz is that Annie said it was eloquently written. I think I may have said this before; Paz still has bits of broken English going on. But I'm probably wrong, she's very well-spoken and has strong opinions so who knows! Maybe Bobby also doubles as a printer so she dictated the letter to him and he printed out the letter with improved English. I dunno. All I do know is having a friend who doubles as a printer would be fabulous.
Another thing I do know is that it's got to be a love letter because Kat has yet to deny it and gets flustered when Annie asks about it. Wednesday couldn't come soon enough!

Tom rarely adds information that's filler (though he certainly adds artistic filler, not that I'm complaining). So what was the relevance of Bud being a very etheric being? Annie said he was watching people (he also wasn't hiding it very well) So, expanding my theory: Bud either saw Kat and Paz's conversation, or saw that Kat kept watching Paz or saw that pigeon on Kat's head, or all three, coupled with maybe Lindsey seeing Kat wandering around the dorms with the pigeon on her head saying something everytime she saw Paz So Bud tells Lndsey, and Lindsey puts it all together and being the accredited couples therapists tries to get them together. So I'm abandoning my "letter from a robot but Kat thinks it's from Paz" for this as my most likely theory |

Am I allowed some ridiculously small measure of "I knew it," regardless of whether or not Tom's pulling a fast one on us?
Also, loving the dramatic-ness of this scene. It feels vaguely Western to me. There should be tumbleweed in the background.
