Are those Seraphs scraping a test, or just trashing the place? Annie better get ready to 'off' them.

Did the robots maybe decide that she is an angel, and set to decorate the workshop in a fashion worthy of that title?

Scrape the walls and crack the paint That's what Kattie Donlan hates

Yeah, the "scrape" doesn't worry me, the "crack" does. WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!

They are just writing "NOT an angel's lab" and "NO important research" on the wall.

I do believe they are going to help her out with the code or provide a significant example for her to work through. This scene reminds me of a scene from the Terry Pratchett Feet of Clay book, where golems debate by writting on the walls with their fingers. Seeing words splattered all over walls does magnify their meaning, no? Plus I don't see the Seraphs being good with pencils...

Did the robots maybe decide that she is an angel, and set to decorate the workshop in a fashion worthy of that title? I think you are probably on target. I'll wildly speculate that this building is also from Diego's time and they're giving it the reverse-remodel, to better fit its current purpose. It would make sense considering the shrine below. And if that is the case these warehouse-deals were probably Diego's workshops.

Still not sure if they're demolishing the place or carving stuff into the walls to make it a shrine/temple

I'm joining the "Room Full of Crazy" club.
All the notes might be hard to piece together on all that paper. One single, massive diagram would be helpful. Also, the room is a cube.

Are those Seraphs scraping a test, or just trashing the place? Annie better get ready to 'off' them. No, they cover by these symbols walls from inside of a cubic room, it seems that this is the key to unlocking the code - you need to look at the code from the inside cube with the information.

They are clearly putting robo-circuit grooves on the building to turn it into a giant sentient robot. For benevolent purposes.

I'm in the 'carving a test' camp. Probably be useful long term to Kat, as well, but I doubt that's the main intent. Also? Scrape the walls and crack the paint That's what Kattie Donlan hates Love that.

At first I thought the S13 was bonking Kat on the head in the last panel.
I'm not sure writing the machine code on the walls would help. Isn't it 3D? Or maybe it is just along the surface of the cube, but then I don't see why it would be so hard to write it down.

At first I thought the S13 was bonking Kat on the head in the last panel. S13 is Robot, our guy, no longer in a Seraph body, and doesn't appear in the last panel at all. I did notice that he's dressed again, in panel 2, though he hadn't put his hood up.

The bots are totes writing technomystical sigils and whatnot. For what purpose, I guess we'll see.

I did notice that he's dressed again, in panel 2, though he hadn't put his hood up. It sure was nice of them to give him his clothes back. And take him out of those chains. And trust him not to dismember them all. Granted it was also nice of Robot to refrain from kicking their heads in and/or just running away with his friends the second he was free. ... you know I'm getting the feeling that robots in general just aren't very bright.

Robot is the specific person who was an S-13, then an S-1 (sort of), then a mouse, then a custom body.

The other seraphs refer to Robot as "number 13" at the beginning of this very chapter.

Robot is S13. Period. He was a Seraph model, #13, and his chip was transferred to other bodies, yes, but that chip is still the one that holds his ..."soul", for want of a better word, his identity. This is gonna be real awkward if it turns out they're just destroying all her work. But I guess they know they're over powered now, right?
