Just for reference, students in Year 10 are 14/15 and in Year 9 are 13/14. Thought that might help clear it up for a few of the readers with different school systems.

And, as I'm a Midlander myself, Parley's accent sounds like it comes from around that area (I think Tom confirmed this to me too) and I'm quite pleased to see a character from my area in there.
