Ninja'd me! I'd named it 'There he is!' though. Pretty quick fix! Now we need to see more of Shadow, methinks. On Wednesday.

Shadow looks... baggy. Though I suspect he'd do so without the clothes. I guess this means he won't be able to be attached to robot like he's used to. This will be an adjustment for the both of them.

One of Coyote's wonderful gifts? I love how you can see that Shadow feel uneasy, with no more than two eyes and a silhouette to build the expression.

Shadow is looking super fly with his baggy clothes. He'll be picking up all the shade ladies in no time!

huge pectorals and small waist. Kat, who were you thinking to, when you designed robot?

While I'm happy to know that, y'know, Shadow's okay and all, the suspense is still killing me, I want to know what happened to them! Arrrrgh.
But, I'm happy both Shadow and Robot are in good health once again. Physically, of course, Shadow is probably quite uneasy at the moment.
Also, I like Kat's everything-went-as-expected-face in panel 4.

Boo easy fixes! I wanted to see the "proper" body. C'est la vie.
Also why does a near miss (it looked like a near miss) with Coyote's tooth suddenly make Shadow 2 into a 3d entity? Did I miss something?

Now Shadow2 will have a bit of a harder time hiding around.

Why is he wearing clothes?
He has no nerves, so he can't feel cold. On top of that, he has nothing to hide. On top of that, there's apparently a whole shadow culture, so it can't be how he was raised.

Also why does a near miss (it looked like a near miss) with Coyote's tooth suddenly make Shadow 2 into a 3d entity? Did I miss something? One of Tom's below the page comments said that the blade was "Sharp enough to cut a shadow from the floor." I assume the shadow people have some way of bonding to surfaces, which is how they can "climb" walls and ceilings. If the Coyote Tooth severed that connection, it ruins his normal method of moving about, and necessitates a new method of ambulation. Short version, pointy knife cut him off the wall; gotta walk now.

This is just a theory, but I imagine if you had been forever confined to 2d surfaces, and always hung around and interacted with folks in 3d, wearing cloths would be something you would never think you would be able to do. Now that hes been given the chance maybe he wanted the cloths simply because he could wear them. I imagine there will be much experimenting with his 3d-ness to come. On a different note perhaps he's just wearing them because he thinks he should. All his current friends do, even his best friend robot who also has no real reason to wear them.

It should be interesting to see Coyote's reaction to this development. I imagine he will find it hilarious that his gift resulted in one of his glass eyed men becoming 3d.

To be fair, "I imagine he will find it hilarious" is a pretty safe bet when it comes to Coyote in any situation. This chapter continues to make me happy. 3D shadow! I wonder what this will lead to.

Shadow is unreasonably cute right now. Yeah still sucks that it had to happen from a blade incident that cut his friend in half.

Perhaps it's a comfort thing? He's spent his whole existence clinging to things, and all of his time most recently clinging to people and their clothes. Now suddenly he can't cling to anything--maybe contact with the clothes makes him more comfortable. I guess from earlier we can assume that he won't need to relearn how to talk, though I would have expected him to have at least a little trouble adjusting to vibrating air instead of surfaces. But maybe it's not that different.

On top of that, there's apparently a whole shadow culture, so it can't be how he was raised. Do we really know he doesn't have any nerves? He may not have nerves in the sense that we think of nerves, but he does have a sense of touch, or maybe he does now. Anyways, yea, Shadow really is being too damn cute >< Also, is that his normal height? If so, then he must have been younger than we thought at the start as he really was 'just a kid' back then. He's probably no more than 10 or the equivalent. Edit: Someone on the comments feed brought up a good point: "Wouldn't he collapse from the weight of the clothes since he's only several molecules wide?" Maybe he is made of carbon nanotubes?

huge pectorals and small waist. Kat, who were you thinking to, when you designed robot? I noticed that too! Kat created robot to be looking quite cut. We know she crushes on handsome ripped men (Batman, Mr. Eglamore, David Duchovny). I have to admit, Katxrobot is kinda growing on me, but would definitely still be very creepy. They seem to work better in a creator-created relationship, in which Robot adores her because of what she has been able to do for her and other robots and she adores him because of what she has invested into her work. Also, Annie and Kat's closed eyed relieved smiles are both so precious Avatars anyone? My first reaction to Shadow2: Now in 3D with clothes was that maybe they were having to disguise him to sneak him around the court, since he has to walk instead of attaching himself to robot? Though it's not a very good disguise.

As for the clothes, maybe he did feel naked or something.
Anyways, did Parley figure out how to launch-teleport someone somewhere, take Annie and Shadow there and went elsewhere (although we don't see/hear the bip twice), or did Annie figure out how to teleport?

Shadow is wearing clothes because Robot wears clothes.
