Her teleporting would confuse Jeanne (if it's possible to confuse a ghost or whatever Jeanne is) Remember she wants to be able to keep Jeanne distracted enough for the others to find that green object in the river

If Jeanne is keeping the peace, it's a peace brought by enslaving an innocent and keeping her stuck in a hellish existence. That's a really high price to pay. And it's not even true peace. Peace would be the Court and the Wood living in harmony together. What we have at present is only the absence of armed conflict.

You know the best way to distract Jeanne? Male Anywyn with rippling muscles! nice idea, that sounds like the most efficient method. I wonder what the green device was, what power did it have?

Is George a lefty, or is she just holding the sword that way so's she can put on her mask? It's a two-handed sword, and the Liechtenauer form that Parley was taught is a two-handed form. Her holding it left-handed while she puts her mask on would indicate that she probably is right-handed, if Tom did not routinely alter characters' handedness as convenient to good layout.

good honest fights are for losers! Parly your honor will get you killed! AHH T_T How do you know she's fighting like that for "honor" or to be "fair" or whatever? Maybe she's just been trained in sword fighting, and it's the best way she's been taught how to fight. I doubt she has access to guns or powerful spells or whatever else would be better for taking on some ghost with a grudge. Besides, from what I've learned of historical fencing, the whole "honorable" bit of it was routinely a veneer which got played up even more in fiction. In actual fighting, most sword fighting was downright underhanded--like most techniques geared at keeping you alive in combat.

Yep gotta agree with that guy ^ Plus I really don't think Parley is the type to get too caught up in "honor", I mean if she's sneaking around hiding her supposed love and all that? I really hope Jeanne teaches Parley another lesson in THAT respect though. But as for the fighting itself, I don't care how Parley does it, I just hope she is able to prevent anyone from getting too badly hurt *worryworryworry* I would be so sad if like Smitty or Kat or someone is injured or... *neversaydieneversaydie* uh, badly injured?

From Diegos camerabot provided flashback, it looks like a strange green arrow that was made from solid jade or green glass or something. @mikey: Like a gun would be of any use against a ghost, unless the bullets had some kind of magical property to them. Besides, the noise would attract attention and be a danger to everybody else, plus they aren't trying to kill Jeanne, insofar as a ghost can be killed. Anyways, yea, Parley has an advantage over Jeanne with her teleporting and should at least use it to escape a blow. As far as the device goes, I wonder how they'll retrieve it? Etheric telekinesis? Someone who is fit and strong could cross the river, but if it's fast flowing, that creates another problem. We'll just have to see how Tom does it in the upcoming comics. Also, is there a possibility of Robot assisting in distracting Jeanne? His superfast reflexes wil help here, unless of course the fight ends up in the Ether. There is also the possibility of Jeanne not being a pure rage ghost as she thinks she is since in Cowards Heart, it looked like she intentionally missed one or two times and there could be a part of Jeanne that isn't able to completely control her actions.

I get the feeling the Parley is possibly expecting to engage in sword to sword while astral with Annie. Otherwise, Parley and her sword aren't going to really be able to interact with Jeanne.
Whether or not Parley's teleportation will work while she is astral with Annie has yet to be seen.

A plan, finally! I am happy to hear tell of it. Now, hopefully, we get to see how effective it is in this chapter. It appears that Robot's name has been softened to Robby, and from there it can be formalized to Robert. Another step in the Court along the path to general recognition of sentience (also hopefully). Also, Robby is a great nickname. How are people pronouncing "Robby"? I can't decided to go with the normal pronunciation or make it match the "o" in "Robot". I think I would spell long O "Roby", and the human name "Robby." But now that you've put the other pronunciation in my head I believe I quite like it better Wow. . .it's really amazing how many people are missing the obvious with Robot's new nickname: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robby_the_Robot. . . seriously, it's quite a famous pop cultural reference. . . ~FS

A few people on the comments for the comic page seem to have gotten the reference. I didn't connect that until I read the comments.
Maybe Tom will have Robot go 'Danger! Danger Will Robinson! Danger!!' as a gag or something, or a variant of it like 'Danger Kat Donlan!'

I thought that was Lost In Space? It was both the origional and the remake, but in the origional, it was Robby the robot who said that I believe. In the remake a couple of years ago, the robot was way different, but the headpiece used later on did look kind of like Robbys head. Edit: No, wait, I checked wiki and it was actually a robot that looks similar to Robby who said that.

We haven't seen any indication that Annie has mastered that either.
