I haven't been in this thread at all yet, because I don't have multiplayer access from this computer, but I'd like to help. Is the issue of wolf textures still an issue? I found a mod that lets wolves spawn in multiple colors and sizes, and it could easily be retextured. Putting it up for consideration: www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=262441

I think client-side mods will have to wait for official mod API due some time in the future.

All the damage was rolled back. Unfortunately all the work we did in the last twelve hours has been lost too, thanks a lot to those two guys. Meh, if they want me to cry in pain, they're a bit off-target. I didn't even use the BigBrother to its fullest. Whatever, they're banned for good. EDIT: If you didn't notice, i have an habit of editing my posts instead of doubleposting to avoid clutter. Some people didn't notice and got confused. To understand this notice, you have to read my previous post. Ironically, this is an edit itself, so you're probably NOT going to notice it.

So, if anyone cares, i finished writing a plugin i dreamed about when building the cliff face: Gravity Gun. It's enabled for all admins. to use it, just write "/ggun punt" and it should make the stuff you targeted fall fifteen blocks-like it was sand! but it has limits, so it doesn't make stuff fall for more than fifteen blocks at once. you need to do it again for more "fall", or issue simply "/ggun" to get a help about the parameters. Don't, absolutely DO NOT do it near buildings without first trying it out. IT IS meant for terraforming, it is VERY destructive. it makes stuff behave like falling sand. remember that. On other news, i implemented a new bunch of kits for everyone that give you every possible block, normal or otherwise-coupled with /more this will give you an almost Creative experience. No limits to what you can build. If you see a type of block or decor that i missed, post about it right here. /kit to see the new kits. Agasa out. I should seriously spend less time thinking about this stuff, even if it DID remove some Java-rust. Sooner or later, it's going to hurt my grades. EDIT: I added, and it was simpler now that i got the hang of it, the Shake gun. typing /ggun shake will apply a powerful shake to the targeted area, dislodging the blocks randomly. It gives a neat "corrosion" effect, and coupled with the other power of the gravity gun, can significantly help in the process of creating the rest of the ravine. Or, make an earthquake. Again, meant for terraforming, admins only, very powerful, not on buildings, yadda yadda. EDIT: /ggun scramble added. Works kinda like shake, but doesn't mix up air and only swaps solid blocks. Will be useful in Zimmingham to create really -weird- buildings. Well, sicktitck mentioned my version of the labyrinth is too netherrack-y. It doesn't fit, really, so he suggested mossy and normal cobblestone. Also, basil's home should be really small in the center of the labyrinth itself, not just connected via a small staircase. I say, he's right, but my skills are not that good - i wasn't able to do it in the labyrinth without making it look -scrunched-, so i'll put the schematic here if someone wants to fix it up.

We could set up a few Court characters in places they are often seen (Such as having Dr.Disaster hang about his Lab and teachers in classrooms/offices etc.) and it seems to allow npcs to be set to follow set paths too. Sure the mod is a little unstable (no server crashes reported but npcs are known to disappear and do other odd things) To me it sounds Promising as an addition. please discuss...?

I have gotten a generic email from youtube telling me I may apply for the partnership program. What I want to know is that if I were to apply and get in (which is highly unlikely) how would I deal with the money? Because I think I should donate a percentage to the server and a percentage to Tom. And a small percentage for me. Edit:Im also making an updated trailer ATM.

Basil's labyrinth is a maybe( hidden in library- although it may change entirely in not so distant future) and the updated Front gate and the great hall in it's completed state too. p.s has the citizens mod idea been ignored?

p.s has the citizens mod idea been ignored? It's not that. I tried out the Citizens mod awhile back, and it was super buggy. Now, this was before 1.5, so it may be better now. I'll need to test it to make sure it works well enough for our purposes. Also, the skinning issue: We would need people to have their Minecraft skins as GKC ones for the NPCs. If people are okay with that, after I (or agasa, if you have time) test it out, we can use the mod.

I'll take the occasion to ask the community and goofanader if creating a group of super-builders with access to most powerful commands like /give, super pickaxe and other worldedit commands like //copy, paste, etc., /shift is a good idea. People would need to be in the Builder group for some time to be upgraded. I think this would help the smooth flow of operations. Opinions?

That sounds a good idea to have more groups. I'd say let builders spawn any item but have very few powerful tools(as onlyonly those which can be trusted allowed to use the powerful tools)

...aww, and I was gonna finally finish up the west tower on the court entrance...
EDIT: I also like the idea of a super-builder group. One suggestion/request: is it possible for normal people (i.e., building privileges but no real superpowers) to be able to teleport?

Is this alright for a logo? I just decided not to get too fancy and use the original logo with some modifications. If anything needs to be changed just ask. On another note, I currently have a Ysengrin Skin on and would be fine testing out the NPC mod when we get to that.

Dummy accounts can be made by using pirate copies of Minecraft - but as they work by making it so Minecraft data servers pretend they don't exist - skin data is taken from the Minecraft data servers they can't ever be skinned (always stuck with the default skins). which means that option is out of the question. Or Dummy accounts can be made by buying more copies of Minecraft (which means that they can be skinned as Minecraft data servers store skin data for real accounts) but at £12 a pop prices could mount up - so it depends if we can gather enough resources for it. And whether it's worth paying just to get a mod working.For now just skinning accounts we already have and pretending they are someone different than their names say is our best option until someone invents a mod that doesn't use skin data from real accounts.

I would love to work on the forest. I have made confusing forests full of secrets on other servers, and when I saw this thread, I thought it would be a great server to create another forest.

Welcome to the team. If you need help with runes, teleporters, tricks and whatnot, just ask. They can be good to create confusing places. Also, who wants to be super-builder please report here. Keep in mind you've got to be regular builder for a while before you can ask. EDIT: I forgot. You also need a clean record for TNT-related stupidity.
