Yeah, Annie did not expect this from C'.
P.S.: Jones guesses about something. As always.

I'm going to take that the "Y-yes, Okay" was to both Jones and Coyote.
Still, she took the condition Coyote sprung on her quite well IMO. I would have had a few more words to say....

The pose that Coyote is giving off in panel 2 is that of a manipulator with a plan that is going exactly how they imagined it to be, and it is giving me the creeps.

I was kinda expecting she would be able to change her clothes to something more comfortable before starting her stay at the forest.

Interesting, that means Tom's comment below page "Last chance"? I think he means this was her last chance to call off her plans, since Jones was leaving.

P.S.: Jones guesses about something. As always. I think the fact she changed from being all "Yeah, and please say hello to my d-father if he ever appears" to feeling all scared again isn't exactly difficult to get. I want to hope she can figure out it wasn't her the one who set Annie on that last mood; and I'm looking forward to her visit. (And seeing Coyote in the ether again.)

Woke up before the comic updated for once.
Yay, new comic. But Tom's comment gives it some extra creepyness.
Hmm, I hope Annie won't have to wear those clothes for her whole stay.

Oral hygiene is my other issue.
I'm sure that rascal Coyote will come up with something. Whatever it is, I'm sure she will regret packin' light.

I speculate that the next comic is going to go one of three ways.
Firstly, a lengthy conversation with Coyote about what's going to happen while she is in the forest.
Secondly, Jones returning to the court and informing everyone of Annie choice, with looks of horror from certain people (namely Kat, Renard and possibly Elgamore).
The third option? Coyote: "So, whose up for poker?" .....Hey it could happen.

Hmm, I hope Annie won't have to wear those clothes for her whole stay. No worries. Jones will probably bring something for her to wear. But if not, and if Jolly and Forest Dude are any guide, Antimony may soon be sporting a new leather outfit. Now, if only she can get her hair to stand up... Alternative theory: She may opt for fairy-chic. Wonder if she does if she'll catch static from the leather shortpants crew...

Yeah, ok, like Miss "I can see a tiny seed fall to the floor while an enraged wolf-tree symbiont bangs his wooden axe-arm of doom against a technomagic labyrinth shield" Jones is going to miss that fancy new bracelet appearing. Fat chance.

The third option? Coyote: "So, whose up for poker?" .....Hey it could happen. But Coyote is (probably) terrible at poker.

Coyote is the ultimate trickster god. If he sucks at poker, it's probably deliberate

Secondly, Jones returning to the court and informing everyone of Annie choice, with looks of horror from certain people (namely Kat, Renard and possibly Elgamore). Please forgive me, but I've seen this spelling error too many times now. There is no character called "Elgamore" in the comic. The proper spelling of his name is "Eglamore". "G" comes before "l", not after it.

Interesting, that means Tom's comment below page "Last chance"? I think he means this was her last chance to call off her plans, since Jones was leaving. And despite being visibly freaked out... so, Antimony is sure that she is quite sure that she is really serious about it. She's pretty cool. I want to hope she can figure out it wasn't her the one who set Annie on that last mood; Probably already did, but what this could change? and I'm looking forward to her visit. (And seeing Coyote in the ether again.) Heh, yes. Given that she will return with fallout report - it would be interesting to know what happened at the other end of the bridge - and what Jones will arrange herself, of course. Hmm, I hope Annie won't have to wear those clothes for her whole stay. Ahem.It could be invisible to anyone other than Coyote and Annie? Yes, but then Annie won't have to weasel out of explaining it.

This was probably mentioned in the previous thread, but wouldn't Coyote's threat last time kind of violate his promise of "no harm will come to you"?

This was probably mentioned in the previous thread, but wouldn't Coyote's threat last time kind of violate his promise of "no harm will come to you"? Coyote would probably say (if anybody confronted him on that - I'm not sure that too many people would dare do so, mind) that his promise applied to Annie's original visit to Gillitie Wood, when she just visited and went back to the Court after talking with him for a couple of hours, and that her staying in the Wood during the summer is an entirely different circumstance, which his promise did not cover. (It would be the kind of approach a trickster would take; loopholes would appeal far more to one than outright promise-breaking.)
