Calling all contestants for editing the last 2 panels for "What did Annie find inside the three?" There's a famous quote from Howard Carter discovering "wonderful things" in King Tut's tomb. I'm not sure what you'd find inside a three. Four, five and six?

Calling all contestants for editing the last 2 panels for "What did Annie find inside the three?" The one in three? Hint: Like most things on the internet this mashup is a reference to a couple of things that normal people won't get... ...people who took art history or wear a tinfoil hat have a slight chance of getting the joke.

That is not some obscure trivia, that is a central tenet to the world's largest religion. Am I way off base?

this is kinda meta, but It seems that using the Barrage Death Beam severely drains Courtnie's stamina. I guess she can't maintain her Reddish Form for prolonged periods of time. Regarding the bone, they'll regret the fact that she didn't see the KFC bucket half-buried beside it... Should be KFG then. which stands for Kunnerfrigg Gort obviously

When I first read that post I thought you referred to the Christian belief that God has three facets(the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit), but are still one and the same. That is not some obscure trivia, that is a central tenet to the world's largest religion. Am I way off base? You aren't, but that's not the whole of it, either. For one, the joke must include that Annie was painted over the All-Seeing (but not Wandering) Eye from the "original", which was, in fact, itself painted over a triprósopos depiction of the Triune God watching over the Supper at Emmaus; this emblem was common enough throughout "the Middle Ages" and beyond ( example from 1570, i.e. a handful of years after the ecumenical council at Trent), but asserted as heretical via Papal bull* in 1628 at the latest. I did take (Byzantine) art history. *e: Or so I had thought. The only document issued by Urban VIII in 1628 is something about some congregation of St. Maurus, which I admittedly only skimmed, but it did not seem related. It seems that the original decree (supposedly issued on August 11, 1628) is missing or inaccessible, and only referred to by secondary sources. ee: Secondary sources such as this, (No. 28) a letter from Pope Benedict XIV that discusses what he considers misdepictions of the Trinity; he notes that three-faced depictions "had been ordered to be burnt" (comburi iussisse): but already seems to have no access to the primary source (if there ever was one in paper), because he refers to one "Macrus" and Bishop "Sarnellus" having recorded this. The latter might be this man, but I can't find the text of the Epistolarum ecclesiasticarum that is referred to. The Pope also notes that the objection had been made "as well as and long before" Urban, such as by this man. Incidentally, Urban approved not only of burning pictures, but also Magdeburg, sending his congratulations to Tilly, whose name is not Irish in origin, but he certainly was a boor, bond of the herd. eee: Which is, I'll assume, a living monument to Nora Barnacle

Loup: "Ahaha! We have the same voice actor!" Must be a rather talented one, speaking in different background colors. But the font is a dead giveaway.
