Please permit me to break up the momentum of the thread by returning to something ridiculous. Pic took longer for me to shloop than I thought it would. Also, welcome to the forums, homomculus ! It's probably best if you host the image elsewhere (I use Imgur). Then:
1. Copy the full URL to your image
2. Click "Reply"
3. Click the icon that looks like a landscape photo
4. Paste the URL into the URL field which will already be selected
5. Click "Insert image"
It may also be possible to upload an image to Proboards as an "attachment", but I haven't tried it and I think that comes with issues of its own.

I upload to Proboards exclusively as "Attachments" using the "Add Attachment" button in the upper right corner of the reply box. I've had no issues yet. When posting an image I've found somewhere else, I've done both: inserted it with the landscape photo "Insert Image" icon, and added it as an attachment, just in case. In those cases, I've found adding it as an attachment preserves the quality better. |
