Oh my god, that it so wrong. I can't stop laughing. Ahahahaha. Of all the ill wishes directed at Anthony recently, I think this one tops them all.

So, just checking panel one of 1499, suddenly I'm getting visions of Kat asking, "Annie are you okay?" in every panel. Then her muttering something about "smooth criminal" in the last panel. I haz no method of doing this, however.

They let him do a whole series for the Court's educational television, as part of his "welcome back" package.

a bit chaotic, so here is a plot: Annie is taking Reynardine to forest, and Anthony is after her. Englamore appears from nowhere and confronts him. Inspired by a tumblr post.

am I the only one who's never heard of target? Yes. ...think WalMart but slightly higher quality and reputation. Discount retailer mostly selling clothes, toys, kitchenware, and electronics but also with a small grocery section (canned/boxed/frozen). Usually the seasonal items section comes close in size to the grocery section (as opposed to WalMart where the grocery section now seems to take up 25-30% of a store). It's a US corporation, though it did recently just shut down (after five years) an attempted expansion into Canada (supply chain issues were blamed by the company, which led to both reduced inventory and higher prices at the Canadian locations).

In case it ever comes up: The other similar chain to WalMart and Target is K-Mart. Fans of Army of Darkness will recognize the (thinly veiled) parody version of this, S-Mart, as Ash's employer.
Target's the oldest by far (if you include mergers/acquisitions/etc)....but the least frequently seen of the trio. Up until the late 90s, they were mostly seen in the western US. For the most part they appear competently run, tend to be fairly clean/organized (unlike some WalMarts, and definitely unlike K-Mart post-1980s) and mostly manage to avoid bad press (if for no other reason than WalMart being such a bigger, more inviting target (pun not intended) for the media and protesters).
WalMart and K-Mart both started in the 1960s, but only in the past 2 decades has WalMart really overwhelmed the market (in large part due to their supply chain/inventory planning being run brilliantly). Prior to that, they were mostly a regional store in the southern US.
K-Mart was the largest up until around 1990. ....at which point, given the study I and some fellow students did of it in an undergrad business class circa 2000, I can only assume that K-Mart's execs had their brains eaten by zombies or space parasites or something. Around that point, they decided to diversify.....by buying up companies that had nothing to do with their usual business model. Sporting goods chains, book stores.... For any US folks wondering what happened to the Waldenbook stores that used be present in just about every shopping mall? K-Mart bought the chain, then bought Borders, then merged the two into Borders Group, shut down most of the Waldenbooks, and then then spun off Borders Group into a separate company in a brief fit of "Wait, we don't know how to run bookstores..." sanity. ...and, well, we saw what happened to Borders...
Meanwhile, they were also making idiotic inventory decisions. "Hey, Bob, this stuff didn't sell and we need space for the new stuff!" "Oh, just shove it in the warehouse." "The warehouse is full of last year's stuff!" "Buy another warehouse!" ....no, really, this is basically what was going on. Circa 2000 they had a new exec come in who started setting up clearance aisles in the stores where you'd find things from a decade or more ago (a few good finds there for the toy collector types...) that had just been sitting in the original shipping boxes in warehouses from back then.
Then Sears (major department store) bought out K-Mart. ....and decided it would be a brilliant move to make tv commercials targeted at urban/inner city customers. For a chain whose stores were almost entirely in rural or outer ring suburban areas.
Yeah....that didn't go over well.
The company's still around, but all the stores in my area have either closed down, been torn down, or been converted into Sears Hardware stores.
